Prey 1 was by far the best game on Idtech 4, that including Doom3 and Quake4. It has pretty deep and vivid story; and the linear gameplay was not noticeable due to that.

Fallout3 story was basically non-existant, the background stories mattered more - those different continuations of original lore as well as stories in DLCs. But they are very different games to compare, Fallout3 (at least unmodded) is not a fps shooter and its greatest strengths come from modding community. And we all know how Beth has screwed its modder fans, in an attempt to cash in. Perhaps devs at Humanhead should take a note and create some room.

Prey's writing remains the most stupid and immature to be seen in a video game, that is across all existing platforms.

F3 had a main quest so I dont know what you're talking about. Did you even play it?

"I waited years for X game... the developers and publishers OWE IT TO ME"... They don't owe you anything. They sold you Prey 1, even if it was sold with promises for a Prey 2 in the future, the sold you Prey 1. Now Prey 2 was never released, and therefore never charged for it... They wanted to make something and then backed out. So, really, is it bad? Is it annoying? Yes, of course... But it is NOT personal, is not like it was kickstarted and you paid them already. If you want to make it personal, it's your choice, but by being PERSONAL, that means you're the only one who cares and you're alone boycotting them. No one is going to boycott something for someone else's personal reasons. "That man lied to me, let's boycott him, all united like humans!!" said no one, ever...

I waited for a lot of games, a lot of years... and IF those games came out, they were vastly different than what I expected. Case in point: Beyond Good & Evil 2... for fucks sake. Is like a freaking MMO now... I wanted BGE2, not this bullshit "open world character personalization"... I mean, is BGE in name only. I should just boycott Ubisoft... Oh wait... It's their IP, their game... They can do whatever the hell they want with it. I just won't buy it. And Beyond Good & Evil is one of my favorite games EVER. I was promised a trilogy... All I've got was a cliffhanger and questions unanswered. Yeah, let's boycott everyone that "hurts my feelings".

I don't know how old you are, and I don't care. But that way of thinking is not healthy at any age. Is like you expect the world to accomodate FOR YOU, and sadly, that will never happen. Also, sorry if I sound like a damn shrink.

If you believe you have a just cause against bethesda, then take legal actions. If you don't have a case against them, then it is because they actually don't have to do anything.
