Edit
I hope that this list will be helpful for someone when trying to decide if they want to pickup a game or not.
There might be some obvious ones, like old graphic adventures will generally allow manual saves (anywhere anytime) and a roguelike will not. But there are many not obvious ones, like modern adventures, and dungeon crawlers and FPSs. For example, Inferno - Beyond the 7th Circle allows manual saves while its predecessor The 7th Circle - Endless Nightmare does not. F.E.A.R. allows, F.E.A.R. 2 does not. Project Warlock does not, PW2 (for now demo only game) does/will.
Many old console ports already did not let the player save at their will. I hope you will find this useful, and will contribute to make it grow.
For what concerns the exact location of the save files, this might be too specific (Windows? Linux? Mac?), the purpouse here is to have a place when one might find an information that is sometimes nowhere to be found in the game card.
The link and the year avoid confusion in case of remakes:
Black Mirror 2003 vs Black Mirror 2017.
Articles are not considered in the alphabetical order.
Edit
thanks to mrkgnao for warning me that paople could not visualize with a link.

Because the games description almost never tells, and it would be nice to know before-hand.
I already keep other lists - games with Japanese, German, and Russian speech included on GOG - but the interest there has been minimal.
I'd like a list for games with confirmed manual saves and loads to exist, maybe as a Google Sheet.
I have made a google sheet with one entry as a template but Google won't let me share it now.
It could be something like this
Inferno - Beyond The 7th Circle dungeon crawler horror "
68k Studios" https://www.gog.com/en/game/inferno_beyond_the_7th_circle
So, name, what kind of game it is and setting, both optional, dev and gog store page.
Is anyone interested? I feel I will mostly get answers only by the usual forum trolls, but if some other person is willing to contribute it could be a nice thing to have. If I could have just done a GOG Mix I would have done this a long time ago.
