I am in.

An aged beggar sat on the broken stones of the street. His head framed by a filthy wool cap, he attempted to appeal to my better nature, "Please spare a coin sirrah, only the monied get to eat every day...there are no longer any rats or grubs to be found. I beg of you..."

Examining my pocket for change, I find a coin that possesses an azure hue. Holding it between my finger and thumb, I displayed it to the wretched creature. "As a child, I was one of those who lived to see London falling into darkness. Of the few people who survived those days, I obtained the greatest freedom of all: A ship, to sail the Sunless Sea. Of course, I had to earn that privilege. If you truly wished to eat, you would venture into the darkness!"

Closing my palm around the coin, I decked the fool in the jaw. Be it wealth, freedom, or passion, nothing is to be gained from witless inaction.

1-B is the path that I have chosen. This is on account that almost nobody wants to harm others without good reason - so the good people of the forum would naturally avoid it. I was sorely tempted to pick the other roads available.

Sorry i was helping a friend writting a letter.

Anyway...

The answers:

a) The beggar looks at you suspiciously and you pick up the pace, you sense something wrong with that man.
b) You knocked out the begger, feeling like a badass you leave the place.
c) The man thanks you for your kindness, as you prepare to leave you feel a strong pain in your back, as you turn around you see the beggar with a bloody knife on his hand and a twisted smile on his face. You're dead, your adventure ends here.
