Wow that's really cool from groupees side, cheers to you and to them!

SirPrimalform: Sorry, I don't buy Groupees bundles any more. As far as I know they still haven't restored the downloads for the earlier bundles to our accounts.
You're right. I just checked Be Mine 1 and 2 and I get "Game file temporarily unavailable" for most games. It hasn't made me avoid Groupees though, especially for music, which unlike games I tend to download immediately.
Very cool. Not my type of music, but I'll support the effort. :)
Very cool! I wasn't too satisfied with Groupees last metal bundle, but it did have at least some good stuff, so I'll give this a try and see if your music tastes are any good. Just so long as there's black and death metal. :D

yogsloth: I kept complaining about the lack of metal, and told 'em I could do a better job. One of the admins gave me his e-mail address, I sent a proposal, and the rest is history. Or will be. :)

I'm very fortunate. I put together a bundle made up entirely of bands I am personally passionate about. Every single band in the bundle was hand-picked by me as music that I truly love, and is relevant and brings something unique and incredible to the table. There is zero filler here - every band is tremendous.

And yes, meyow, it's that noise stuff. ;) You should try it though - you never know what will move you!
Oh. I see. So they are really open to user opinion eh ? even gave you an opportunity.

About the music.. well, since years ago I often only listen to soundtracks of game or anime. Mostly I listen to instrumental one -and also the calm or slow type of music. Even so, my playlist often consist only 3 - 5 music. Maybe it is just me that don't really into music as main entertainment.

But, I'll take a look at your bundle. I might found something I like -as I ever liked a few metal before (but not for long).

Anyway, good luck with the bundle !

That's the risk of buying digital products. If the provider is messed up e.g GoG, Steam, Groupees, then you're out of luck. Sure you can make a copy of your purchase (to avoid disaster), but it won't be the same in the case of Groupees' DRM free builds. You won't have a 'proof' of purchase or the same feeling of that item in your digital library again.

That's why I only buy Steam bundles from Groupees. Greenlight is far in between but I still do it for the potential Steam keys.

I wrote to them and they apologized for not being able to restore some of them... forever.

Maxvorstadt: Ambient metal? What the hell is ambient metal? And what is tech metal?
Am with you here, what are those categories you mentioned OP? Anyways, good idea, will watch this when it comes out. One question though, do you need to setup account etc.

Dalswyn: The first bundle I bought from them was the Sherlock Holmes Charity bundle of may 2013. It is back, and so are all of the others, or so it seems.
Uh, according to further posts, the earlier downloads are not back. I've yet to check it again myself but I see no reason to disbelieve them.

Is there a list of everything that dissappeared? I see that Rico - A Tale of Two Brothers is back, but Cryostatis has only a Steam key (that had a download before The Calamity, if I recall). I can't remember what the other games were.
We're live!

Check out the sweet into video... and dozens of CDs and other goodies to give out as prizes!

Not that I'm aware of. I'll dig up the archived thread about the issue and see if there was anything.
So far, I'm really enjoying Tengger Cavalry.

That's as far as I've got, but one album that I like for a buck means that any others that I like are just gravy!

TC is probably the most unique band in the bundle. They're one of the bands that I launched my idea with - a band that is so unique (which is almost impossible in metal) that I want the world to hear them.

They're probably a good starting point for the not-quite-sold-on-metal crowd to check out.
