Uninstall steam. Fixed.

dick1982: From Uplay and Origin? You are shitting me.

Breja: Well, drugs people get addicted to are also shit that's very bad for them, so I guess it makes sense.
You can also be addicted to good things which makes them bad... :S
battle net?
I recently bought some games from humble bundle super cheap.

https://www.humblebundle.com/store/promo/onsalethisweek/

They have some really good deals.

Try to buy games on sale rather than full price to control your addiction.

Subtract! :p
Are you sure you diagnosed yourself correctly? This sounds more like ghosts to me. It may be embarrassing, but you should talk to your doctor about this. Many hauntings can be easily treated if caught during the early stages.

Your advice is horrible actually. I did that, and thanks to that now I have 2200+ games on my Steam library... a thousand dollars short to show. T_T

PookaMustard: Oh, I'm not facing any withdrawal symptoms at the moment, though I do plan to run a virtual machine running Windows 2000, then install Steam on it. Once I'm done breaking it, BOOM, I delete the virtual machine, and Steam was never installed nor downloaded to my Windows 10. I wanna do it. I wanna do it.
We need to go deeper. Install Windows on a Mac, run the virtual machine running Windows 200 on it, run a virtual machine running Linux on that... wait, can you get Steam to work on DOSbox?

grimwerk: It's important to fill the void left by your addiction with more positive pastimes, like pornography and alcohol.
Yeah, the Zen way of life.... :D

Sounds like you're getting ready to cook a Turducken!
Whenever you start to feel restless try meditation.
Meditating for few minutes will help you.
You will have to understand that not every game is made for you.
You can also use finish-old-before-you-buy-new strategy.
I think you feel lonely too. So you can share your thought with your family/partner or with us.
:)

I agree. This point is important.
Just choose which one we really want to buy AND play.
My problem is I really want to play all the games I buy... but I never have enough time.

Install a virtual box, run Windows 2000 on it, then install virtual box inside the virtual Windows 2000, and then install Windows 2000 on that virtual box?

COUNT ME IN!!

My brother had/has a similar problem but with porno.

I recommend getting rid of those other platforms and sticking with GoG. If you are going to be an addict you may as well stick with the good stuff. Your games will thank you.
