I've never had issue with that, the one time I've run across it. Nor the 'are you a robot' re-catchpa.

Just checked on new weekly bundle, this is interesting... anything below BTA is triggering some captcha, but the one I got is just a click, not the picture check. An hour ago I got the picture captcha doing exact same thing. Then I waited a bit and tried again and I got picture captcha again. Seems to be random or something...

I actually gave up tonight on trying to log in to Indie Gala.
It's only on the site login and only if you fail to enter the correct password. If you have your login saved or never actually log out of the site, you'll probably never see it.

I gave up on Captchas entirely. It is MUCH-MUCH easier to learn Japanese language 1000 times from a scratch than to decipher all those pictures and heavily distorted symbols.

More elegant checks are questions like: How much is five multiplied by four? And other similar questions.

I didn't see those captchas on GOG as I have my login saved. I hope they aren't overly convoluted, where you need a whole eternity to basically brute-force them (most captchas make it impossible to guess is that "1", "I', "l", "!", "t"... I mean, come on...).

I like how the instructions are always forced on me in a language I can't read, so I have no idea of what exactly they're asking me to do. Way to go basing it on country of IP! No one ever travels anywhere in today's world or lives in a foreign country.

It is, but maybe for a reason. Today was the first time that I had to do the reCAPTCHA to login. Before that was only neccessary to redeem gifts. Maybe GOG introduced it, because of the reported hacking attempts of many user accounts?
