Seriously, are you able to finish 10+ games every week? If so, teach me ;)
I like the way GOG is handling the releases. They might not release ten games per week, but most of the games they release are quality games instead. I don't need another shop where the catalogue consists of 90% shovelware and crap games and where I have to search for hours just to find a decent game.
I want to purchase masquerade bloodlines + OST on gog :)
Yeah this year has been overwhelming with releases. I just spent 120 bucks on GOG yesterday and barely made a dent in my wishlist. I've got over 100 games installed and I'm alternating between Doom, Darksiders, Legend of Kay, Jedi Outcast, and Dragonshard. While part of me is disappointed there was no release today, another part of me is breathing a huge sigh of relief, so I'll be able to get back to tackling those games without worries of adding to the pile. :-)

JMich: Day 251 of the year (252 is you are on September 9th), 221 games released. 6 games released per week on average. ~2 10+ years old games per week. ~1.3 pre-2K game per week.

Yet there are not enough releases. I'm out...
Not enough releases! We require moar resources!
Well...
- Better QA
- Better contracts with publishers/developers so GOG also gets the latest versions
- More open/less douchey 'quality control'
- Better functioning forum
- Better press/community personnel (AKA less foot-in-mouth posters)
and maybe then start looking to release more games. Maybe.
A single day goes by without a release and its mass hysteria over here. GOG has spoiled people with too many releases this year so folks are now experiencing release withdrawals due to lack of a new one today. ;)

And I never said for gog.com to release the floodgate like Steam did.

I specifically said gog.com has or needs to hire more QA testers and all that stuff.

I specifically said more classic old video games or AAA video games that are 5+ years old to 10+ years old from AAA video game publishing companies, Like Call of Duty, Call of Duty: United Offensive, Grand Theft Auto, Grand Theft Auto II, etc.

Johnathanamz: No they are not enough.
Let me say this. Your complaint isn't "GOG isn't releasing enough games", it's "GOG isn't releasing the games I want". And that is a different subject.

That is exactly what I am experiencing I think.

Johnathanamz: I want to purchase...

[insert big list o gubbins]

Then I can finally shut up.
Then go to any of the other online retailers that do sell them! You made no mention of DRM-Free, so evidently thats not an issue.

I have most of them on Steam already, but I have permanently left Steam in 2012 after purchasing video games from them since 2004 with Half-Life 2, then Red Orchestra Osfront 41-45 in 2006 and so on. It was only in 2011 when I heard about gog.com.

More QA tester won't help them as long as the publishers of these games don't want to sell them DRM-free on GOG.

Right at the moment 10 releases per week would probably mean more shovelware and sinking quality.

Potzato: If you are spending more time buying games than playing, you are doing it wrong.
I am doing it totally wrong.
