What they need is less talk, more rock!

Or is that GOG105.7 the Point FM?
Looks like you're determined to spend the rest of your life on a Battlefield. I guess the Call of Duty is (Bio)Shockingly strong in your case, but committing Grand Theft Auto isn't the way. No, Batman isn't the answer either.

jamyskis: If Steam's shovelware problem is anything to go by, I don't think increasing the number of games each week would be particularly beneficial...
Why do people always leap to the other extreme?

Nobody's saying GOG should completely open the floodgates to dreck. But why are so many games left out?

There is, I imagine, a happy medium between GOG's ideal, where they release nothing and we just give them money, and Steam's glut of garbage.

Poor man. Not enough time in a day to feed his hobby. You have my sympathies ;-)

Johnathanamz: No they are not enough.

I want to purchase Battlefield 1942 and all of it's expansion packs, I want to purchase Battlefield 2 and all of it's expansion packs. I want to purchase Battlefield Vietnam + Battlefield Vietnam Redux, I want to purchase Battlefield 2142, I want to purchase Battlefield: Bad Company (Ported to PC), I want to purchase Battlefield 1943 (ported to PC), I want to purchase Battlefield: Bad Company 2 with it's DLC and Vietnam expansion pack, I want to purchase Battlefield 3 with all of it's DLC's.

I want to purchase Call of Duty, Call of Duty: United Offensive, Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 3 (Ported to PC), Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, and Call of Duty: World at War.

I want to purchase BioShock, BioShock 2 and Menerva's Den.

I want to purchase Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City, and Batman: Arkham Origins.

I want to purchase Grand Theft Auto. Grand Theft Auto II, Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Then I can finally shut up. Don't release all of them in 1 week for sale, but release 5 or 10 each week. This is all I want mostly.
i want i want i want i want , me me me me.

Selfish much.

How shameless can you be? Stop whining like a child already. I remember four months ago, your rep was almost 100, now it is less than 50.

Gog will do what it wants to do.

And no I don't agree with the thread title question. let them release games at their own pace.

tort, while I agree the topic is a little silly, you are the most negative person I have ever met. XD There are suicide wards full of people right now that are all more upbeat than you are.

I swear, if you ever post anything that is in anyway positive, the fucking world might stop turning. :P

How is it selfish to want to give GOG business?

JMich: Let me say this. Your complaint isn't "GOG isn't releasing enough games", it's "GOG isn't releasing the games I want". And that is a different subject.
What JMich said.

Johnathanamz: I'm not being greedy I just need more video games to purchase.

Potzato: If you are spending more time buying games than playing, you are doing it wrong.
Hmmm... Some people like collecting stamps... some like collecting video games.

I have to agree, i sorta want to see more games released... Not floodgates like Valve/Steam did, but 5-10 would be good. As for if you can play all those games in that time isn't necessarily the thing.

A while back i read that they had a huge backlog and were releasing the games in a trickle, and nothing's wrong with that, i wouldn't be surprised if they were already packaged and ready to go but just waiting for a proper week that feels like it's good to release them; But i keep seeing sales go on and i look through them and I've already purchased the entire set, or only the games I'm interested in (Not generally interested in wartime sims or more risk-looking games)

This makes me less and less interested since I've noticed i was buying too many games for trading, so now i only buy games for myself unless somewhere there's a good chance to trade or give the games away that i already have. Certainly there's still good games to buy, but a number of them have to come down in price. No matter how good TW3 is, I've set a personal limit of $20 for any individual game, and i also target my buying based on heavier discounts so I'm more likely to buy a game at 75% discount that's $10+ than one undiscounted at $10.

But my spending has come down to a crawl.. which is probably a good thing... but i like buying games I'm interested in, and there's just games I'm not interested in or already have that i keep seeing rolling in each week's sales...

I won't go as far as saying I spend more time buying games than playing them, but I am buying more games than I can play and I spend a lot of time in here talking about games. So I guess I'm also doing it wrong.
On a more positive note, I only buy games here, so I'm not wasting time and money in shovelware. Much. I hope.
I'm going back to Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis now...
Holy shit shut up.

99% this. Only the game is different.

In other words, the release rate is fine by me.
No thanks. If anything, the release rate is too high for me. I'd rather they maintained their boutique approach and be very selective about which games they accept.

And, like JMich said, your complaint seems to be entirely different from what your title suggests.

I bet you can find an Xbox 360 / PS3 and all those games super cheap in about a week if you're that interested.
