It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

rtcvb32: Maybe...

During sales obviously you use the same code so that wouldn't matter, as for the site layouts it's probably a php file with a layout and a foreach with html code... not that difficult to maintain two of them. Or better, having the layout in a intermediate step that you can change and use a decoder/manager to deal with the layouts so you don't have to touch it.

Even if the old site was put to the side and you could still access the old layout, it wouldn't mean more work, 99% of the site's information is in the database, not the php/css/js layout...

Hmmm... I really miss the old layout... i miss the old easy to access gog downloader links too... and the old PM system... geez... i miss the whole site.
Sorry nope ;)

What about the forums?
What about the game description pages with reviews?
What about the support forums?

Just to name a few?

How do you want to interlink them? (That IS a nightmare ;) )

rtcvb32: Yet the entire layout and huge buttons suggest that's what they were targeting... If i shrink the area of my view screen it changes to a mobile layout even more.

It's actually probably the heavy JS. Banners at certain widths fitting better for phones and mobile make sense, but everything else seems a little off.
Yeah, they use JS way too much. I think it really slows down the site.

In multiple ways. I know if they had an option for cached games in your list, it could load all at once rather than loading the list then loading each title's data individually.

I'd much prefer having an option where you pre-download all major assets form the store (banners, screenshots, etc) and then the site would load lightning quick, or loading the whole page at once and it's data rather than pinging the site 300 times.

But that's just me...
