I can only go after things when I see them...fluffing up my capabilities doesn't make slips or adverse motivations magically appear. Lately I've been trying to let things play out a little further before laying out a case. Give me time, when I see enough, I will make a case.

My vote and it's rationale was made very concisely and is contained entirely in that post. Although the fact you cited as a reason for your vote an event that occurred after said vote, does move you toward the scum line...townies don't lie...

What? Your omgus vote is a reason for my prodded vote to turn real.

You're seriously trying to accuse me of lying lmao. "moves me toward the scum line"

ok pal

I guess we just sit and wait for you to "see enough" to build a real case.

I'll just wait right over here.

Right... over... here

ZFR: Since there is no restriction on what a spell can be called, this counts as a vote.

Due to the way voting happens in this game, please don't make purposely ambiguous votes. If you do, I reserve the right to assume what I think you mean and count it accordingly. I won't incorrectly guess on purpose, so if you write "Lovely day we're having, isn't it, Vitek?", I'll assume that was a legit question and not a name of a spell. But if you write "I suspect mchack", I'll count it as a vote. When you think there can be some doubt, make sure to mark it in a way to make it clear, e.g. by adding "(no vote)" at the end. Or don't bold it.

You can thank Joe for his Pokemon game.
Good to know,
Incantatio retraxerit, Agentcarr

Digitus suspicio Agentcarr!!!
Nope, Agent is town.

I'm thinking per GOG protocol, with 14 players, we've got three mafia and a neutral.

Joe still town.

I'm leaning town on Lift.

Joppo is another one I don't know, but I get nothing but "new player, excited townie" vibes there

Going back and forth on Carradice, had a scum lean, but feeling like if RW is mafia, Carradine probably isn't, so I'll reserve judgement there.

Good good good.
In case you didn't bother to translate my last action and in the interests of avoiding ambiguity:

UNVOTUS Agentcarr

Lifthrasil: That sounds like something only a Slytherin would say!
You know the ye olde saying: Possibly around a slyth? Listen for the hiss. o.0

JoeSapphire: Fuck. Game over, RW wins.
*round of applause*
*gamerager pops champagne cork*
You guys/gals aren't gonna let me down from that one, now are ya? ;D

*Hides random bottle of champagne for random celebrating at random behind his back*

ConsulCaesar: I haven't checked the records of previous school years, but I think the "I'm going to read the rules now" was over-the-top even for a jester, let alone for intentional derping. I'd file it in the "class clown jokes" folder and not consider it as evidence either for or against being Slytherine.
Well, seeing as how both who claimed such didn't get replaced by OP, i'm willing to bet/wager(the non betting kind) they're more likely town/non-slyths. ;)

Though now that I just stated that, I beg all remaining possible town, please don't do such as it might break the game a bit.

ZFR: sanscript has informed me that he might not have the time to play due to real life issues. I'm not sure if he wants to sub out. I'll keep you posted.
Dammit, I hope you can convince him to stay...he is a very good user on the forum and very well spoken. :)

Maybe inform him we have punch and pie(note: I know we have no punch and pie, but we can SAY we do. ;))? :)

RWarehall: @Carridice Derps (or slips) happen. There have been cases where people slip up. For example, declaring victory (or popping champagne)....
And another user mentions my derp....it's so much fun(I mean it, btw) to be part of the most well known derps of all time, so to speak. :)

RWarehall: Although the fact you cited as a reason for your vote an event that occurred after said vote, does move you toward the scum line...townies don't lie...
Correction: Townies shouldn't lie as it's bad town play....that doesn't mean townies cannot and don't ever lie.
===========================================

To all: I am thinking of voting Rwarehall of the main wagons....Yog and Agent seem town to me, and I dunno if Lift would be "lucky" enough to be scum again....what does everyone else think?

(To OP: The above is NOT a vote)

ZFR: 4. This is a game of lying. Players are expected to lie.
avatar
agentcarr16: I lied three times in Post 14. See if you can spot the lies!
All jokes aside, lying as town is bad. If you're town, you create confusion which hurts your team. Especially since scum can abuse joking too, to create confusion and insecurity about which statements were meant and which weren't. You know the tenet of 'lynch all liars' and yet you try to establish lying as valid joke.
That's anti- town play.

My vote stays where it is and it's not rvs or a joke anymore.

:/

I buy the joke explanation for sure, but I wouldn't go as far as to clear Agent. Seems premature. I don't think you'd be that obvious if he was a buddy of yours so I'm not sure what you're up to.
OK, I step away from this game for two decades and it's gone crazy. What's up?
Seems we are starting to move out of the RVS phase, that’s good as I dislike that phase along with Day 1 for the most part. As of right now not voting yogs or agent today. Would vote Lift, Carradice, RW, or Pooka. Of those I am leaning more toward

Vote carradice

But, I am concerned that sanscript has not posted yet :-/

See ZFR's post above, sanscript might be dropping out.

It's a pity, I hope it's nothing serious.

Agent and Yog have essentially been soft cleared by OP(not replacing them after their posts), yet you stick with your vote....so either you're scum or you're town and wanting to lynch them for a joke.....I dunno which is worse.

As such, VOTUS Lift for now

(if any of the other 3(listed below this bit) make me more suspicious I might change my vote if need be....but at this point I want to see 1 of those 3 lynched today more than any others)
-------------------------------------------------
Also to all: I now suspect Rwarehall/Lift and possibly SPF for seemingly ignoring the fact that agent and yog haven't been replaced for violating a game rule & voting them anyways, and/or for wanting to lynch them over some silly joke lies.

I am guessing/somewhat sure these are some scum(at least 1) among those 3.

(To OP: That bolded bit on my guess just above this line is also not a vote, though the lift vote is a vote)

PookaMustard: OK, I step away from this game for two decades and it's gone crazy. What's up?
Some users likely outed themselves as town(they weren't warned/replaced for "announcing their houses"[agent and yog, I mean]) and others are now pouncing on them for it and making their votes "super serious"...likely to try and get some town lynched.
sanscript wrote he has RL issues, but I'm not sure he meant for just a few days or that he wants to drop out. I will wait a bit till he teplies.

I think we have enough subs should we need it. Also, if necessary I will extend the Day.

Could you run me through that logic in a bit more detail please?

I just remembered that...my mistake.

Votus Lift

Question though: Why does the vote have to be on a line of it's own as long as it's bolded and you see it? What possible reason could there be for making that rule?

(Just curious...not trying to make waves/etc)
