It's always the same thing for me when there's a bigger sale with a bunch of packages that you can't just add to the cart and pay in one go. Three payments with a credit card go through, starting with the 4th all I get is "Something went wrong" "Your payment attempt with this card cannot be processed.", and IIRC correctly if I try again a few times some other error shows up but I'm not going to replicate that now. Then you wait until the next day and another three payments go through.
This pattern is reliable, it's always the same.
I'm not exactly sure how long this is going on, but it's been a while. Maybe... two years?
It's not me mistyping anything*, and it's not my bank. I actually called them once around the time this started to happen and they told me the failed attempts did not show up in their logs, as in, GOG never actually tried.
The combination of all of the above makes me assume it's a fraud detection system that's doing it's job but likes to err on the "save" side. The thing is, when you put up sales like today, where you have three different SNK packages, something interesting in the weekly sale plus something on my wish list, that's at least four separate payments, five if you forget to combine wish list + weekly. I don't think I have to spell out where the problem is.
So, please have a look at your fraud detection system. Or let us add packages to the cart and pay in one go. Preferably both.
