It's always the same thing for me when there's a bigger sale with a bunch of packages that you can't just add to the cart and pay in one go. Three payments with a credit card go through, starting with the 4th all I get is "Something went wrong" "Your payment attempt with this card cannot be processed.", and IIRC correctly if I try again a few times some other error shows up but I'm not going to replicate that now. Then you wait until the next day and another three payments go through.
This pattern is reliable, it's always the same.

It's not me mistyping anything*, and it's not my bank. I actually called them once around the time this started to happen and they told me the failed attempts did not show up in their logs, as in, GOG never actually tried.

The combination of all of the above makes me assume it's a fraud detection system that's doing it's job but likes to err on the "save" side. The thing is, when you put up sales like today, where you have three different SNK packages, something interesting in the weekly sale plus something on my wish list, that's at least four separate payments, five if you forget to combine wish list + weekly. I don't think I have to spell out where the problem is.

So, please have a look at your fraud detection system. Or let us add packages to the cart and pay in one go. Preferably both.

Why buy them separately? You can add all those packages in a single order and still benefit from the bundle discounts.

Edit: I see why. GOG offers no option to add the bundle directly to your cart.

I agree, but most discounts last for a week so you should be fine.
Better than someone getting access to you card and being able to spend it all :)

How does this work exactly?
I did visit the game store page before I bought them and the price was higher. Now when I visit them again after I bought them it's the lower bundle price. So, what, all I have to do is add all the individual games to the cart and when I'm done with that the price in my cart will change to the bundle price?

Yes, that's correct.

In the past, the bundles had a button that could add the bundle to your cart directly, but it seems to be missing from their current incarnation.

I rarely do game shopping outside of the weekends, I'm usually too busy for that., so for me sales usually last two days. :p
Unless my bank lied to me it's not my bank. It might not be GOG directly, as in, they may use a third party service for payments and fraud detection, but, again, unless my bank lied to me, it's nothing on my end. Alright, thanks guys. I'll try that the next time.

Got curious and skimmed the fine print on our merchant account. They don't give examples or specifics but a number of payments in a row like that with a single customer and card would probably set our fraud protection off as well.

Probably an industry standard.
