JudasIscariot: Yeah.. in about 40 minutes, I think? It brought a Mac friend along too :P

Johnathanamz: .

Not all PC gamers care about command lines, terminals and all that stuff

JudasIscariot: Unless you are on some very specific distro, you don't ever have to use the command line if you don't want to :D
I know, but most people using PC's don't really care about using Linux for a bunch of other reasons.

Windows is perfect in every way for me it just works and is the only Operating System (OS) I like to use a lot.

I guess you can say brand loyalty?

vanchann: I prefer to play on Linux too!
+1.

I love it! :-)
Is the Linux version coming soon?

now apple... apple is pure evil.
GOG should make Glinux.
Before the name change they should've made GOLinux.
1 year full time Linux here, It was a rough start adapting and searching for replacement software that I used on Windows but eventually I found better alternatives, couldn't be happier :D

As opposed to all the reputable computer parts manufacturers in Asia that are paying their employees $70000 a year and only supply Dell & HP & Seagate & the rest? Don't be foolish.

Johnathanamz: Calling the majority of the PC gamers Operating System (OS) Microshit?

What the hell.

There's a reason Linux is not installed 1.3 billion+ PC's.

Not all PC gamers care about command lines, terminals and all that stuff

On Steam 25 million PC gamers have Windows 10 installed and so far Windows 10 has been installed on 110 million PC's.
I called Microsoft Microshit. I don't know what you read.

If you like MS's way of handling W10 and how they are forcing it on users of W8.1 and W7, then you don't have to say anything else. Unless of course you are oblivious of what is going on. http://www.zdnet.com/article/windows-10-upgrade-nags-become-more-aggressive-offer-no-opt-out/
If you like this....wow.

It's all good :) I just use Linux like Windows in a way and the only time I really make use of the command line is when I want to update my system since the command is easy and running the command is faster than running the GUI version of the update application :)

Your knowledge of Linux is very outdated. There is no need for terminals nowadays on Linux Mint, Ubuntu and countless other linux environments since they all include a graphical install interface similar to how Windows enables installation. Heck even all new gog linux installers are just graphical install like in Windows aka "click next, next and finish".

Nothing to be afraid on Linux nowadays. Its a very mature system, unfortunately people who have only ever used Windows aren't even prepared to try anything else.
Definitely! : )

I'm using Linux for couple of weeks only, but I'm already quite sure my win7 goes offline very soon. It took way less time to make Linux fit my needs than win7. What's more important, I have much more control over OS than anytime before. Win 8, 10? I have more interesting things to do than watch fancy looking tiles in my spare time.
So, please GoG, more Linux. There is no way back : )

That is why I said a bunch of other reasons when I replied to Judaslscariot.

I also said I guess you can call it brand loyalty to Judaslscariot.

I'm not afraid of Linux. I had Linux installed on one of my PC's in 2014 for 1 month.
November is so damn near it'll make Linux folks go wild. Tons of new, indie, AAA and some oldies ported directly to Linux, I bet. So no worries. And in terms of hardware... gosh, I'm excited.

What I see nowadays is that lots of linux folks are demanding damn peculiar games on this amazing OS. I can dig that when the game runs on an engine that supports linux but an oldie, for instance, must be handpicked in order to be ported, wrapped and so on. Much like VirtualProgramming, Aspyr and Feral are doing atm.

It's about Foxconn. I had a friend who worked for them (acoustical engineer). He was loaned to them by Dell. Foxconn supplies parts for all manufacturers. Only one of their buyers is evil? FFS.
