What if one of us was the lynch and whomever it was flipped town....what then? Still try to lynch the other? Reassess?

No, it's not in order. You've had plenty of time to make up your minds with 2 days left still and I already added one extra day for Joppo who has made a pretty good use of it. Get on with it or go for the record with 3 consecutive No-Lynches.

Sorry I've been out of it today, this Covid is kicking my ass. As of right now I have no interest in a Joppo or Bookwyrm lynch. I would be willing to lynch anyone else with highest priority to Blotunga or Catte. I don't like the comment from Catte regarding me and GH when he said if one of us flips scum it gives the other Town points, but the other side of that is if one of us flips Town (as I know I would) it gives the other scum points and makes for an easier mislynch if the other is also Town. That comment could be him laying the foundation to get one of us lynched today and the other tomorrow, so not a fan of Catte right now.

My biggest fear is Bookwyrm is pulling one over on me, and if so I again tip my hat to you sir. So my off the wall crazy scum team is Bookwyrm and Pookina. This is just a crazy theory so it holds no merit, but as with yogs and Lift I always have to suspect the players who can play the perfect scum game because if I don't then I'm a sap all over again.

Sorries go out to Blotunga, btw....but I really don't want to see another NL happen, we only have less than 2 IRL days left, and no other wagons seem to be gaining momentum. And since near any wagon(except my own, obviously) is good enough for me atm....so:

Well one flipping town wouldn't give the other one scum points if that's what you mean? It just wouldn't give town points. Obviously I can't make predictions about what other actions you or Trent might take so I don't know how I would be reading you at some hypothetical future point in the game. You'd only make plans like "if X flips town then lynch Y" if you have logical reasons (usually based around information from roles which we obviously don't have here).

The only thing I said was that I didn't think you could be scum together and that one of you flipping scum would make the other unlikely to.

I meant that I do/say a number of odd/dumb seeming things in these games.....so such should be NAI re: me by now.....especially to players who've played with me awhile.

That stuff said by Catte about you twisting things and other things they've said as of late make me think Catte is more likely scum than town....though of course I could be wrong(once again).

If I may ask: reading post 646 and 650...and adding in all the other posts you've read....do you think it's more likely we're dealing with town!catte or scum!Catte?

Person A flipping town would neither decrease nor increase suspicion on person B because the reasons for suspecting person B are not based on the alignment of person A. Can't be clearer than that.

things that stood out most to me & other thoughts
Book has been pushing hard for a blotunga lunch, and has also started to look incredibly towny. either 1) Book has fooled me in which case a) it isn't that hard, sadly (ask Pooka) or b) he's town and probably correct. That is, i cannot find flaw in his logic. (577 etc) it took a lot of convincing, but Bookwyrm battered down my mental defenses. the 535 vote without allowing for a defense seems hasty in memory; blot caused as Pooka says "Wagon Confusion" (537) & does wagon shuffling from GH to Lift (town)
I think either Nmillar or blotunga or blot and trent is scum though prob not both nm & trent, and joppo toDay has seemed a lot more town than nmillar or blotunga.

@608 & bookwyrm, i do follow your logic. I hated those excercises in the past (too many variables) but i do follow you. When I said " than making up new info" i wasn't implying that you made it up out of thin air, but hadn't been coming up with stuff not previously said. However, that is neither here not there because today you've had a lot of OC. Also, I get what you mean when you said, "There were a lot of things I wanted to say that Lift simply said first; entire post sections were deleted because he already said it and I didn't feel the need to clutter the thread." <<this is normal for me in these games and one reason this post is shorter.

i think i've caught up and i'm extremely uncomfortable with GH's saying he votes pportunistically NAI. This made tingles go up and down my spine.

so yeah, i was thinking on and off all day at family about this and i have become convinced that with blotunga we are more likely to hit scum than with others.

If it is a blot-trent team; there seems no appetite for this idea, today. i cannot see a blot/book team. a blot-catte team seems unlikely? blot/joppo seems also less likely.

If blot/gh, then eod2 was all distancing/bussing and getting over-committed to a position such that blot couldn't back up but then took the first viable alternative (lift wagon) knowing it might not go anywhere.

I was strongly considering soft-voting blotunga (ie "Blot, consider yourself at L1") but since we have yet to get any lunch's due to stopping at L2 most times this game; I'm getting sick of it.

I agree that joppoMillar has started to look a bit more towny in general, due to things like their analysis in earlier posts....that said, it could possibly all be an act by scum!Njoppo, so I will still be keeping an eye on them on D4(should I not get lynched or NKd, that is).

Reminds me of how I have to control my own posting to these games, else my own posts would be even longer and more numerous.

Clarification/note: I already explained this to Catte(though you've been tired/etc lately, so I assume/guess you missed it)......I meant that me doing/saying "odd/weird" things in these games in general is NAI, due to my style of play.....so I found it odd(correct phrasing?) that Catte(who knows my play by now, I assume) would see an odd seeming vote of mine as scummy.

Of course, that said....I could be scum(I mean i'm not verified town), so I can somewhat understand other players like Catte/yourself/etc suspecting me.

I see we are very probably headed for a blotunga lynch. I hope it is a blotunga lynch, we already have the two-consecutive no-lynches record so please don't make it three-consecutive no-lynches. For the love of Jesus or whoever other person or entity you revere. We're better than this.

Otherwise, I don't see that much happened. Micro seems more active after picking up work (I'd like to learn that skill), GH for some reason said that catte's accusation of him jumping on trent being opportunistic is unfounded because it's NAI, blotunga is agreed to be the most likely to flip scum, all that stuff. Trent (stay strong!) says his crazy scum team theory is me and Bookwyrm, actually, I wish we were scumbuddies, we'd be pretty awesome, but trent is right, I'm also afraid that Book is scum - but let's be honest, what are the chances? Nothing really, this game is pretty boring.

Actually speaking of Bookscum, I doubt he'd even want Lift dead. It doesn't look like Lift would be that one insurmountable obstacle to him? Call it a hunch, but I think if he wanted him dead, he'd be N3 material, not N2.

Alas, I will channel trent once again and say the IC should claim. This will deprive the scumteam of the daychat, and give us a free read on a platter of gold. Unfortunately it's pretty late to claim, and I think if you're gonna claim, might as well make the most use of it: claim at day start instead of day end, and get two Days worth of 100% Town thoughts and content. (Unless the IC claim automatically ends the Day and I missed a part like this).

According to the countdown, I should have enough time well until something like 11PM tomorrow, which is pretty excellent and means I can get a chance to hammer whoever the unlucky leading wagon is.
