HypersomniacLive: I asked if you consider it likely for the scum to share any info regarding their prize, before or after they'd have used it.
I apologize. I misread the question as "When would you expect...". Yes, I do expect them to share information about how they night acted and did this and that. Most likely lies to throw the game off or show a buddy in a better light. The least probable action, as RWarehall stated earlier, would be to condemn a Townie in a result of an alignment scan, because this will mean automatic retaliation on the next day. This is why I said your words and shared information should be scrutinized with extreme prejudice. If they can be confirmed by one or two 3rd party sources the provided information may prove extremely helpful in the scum-hunting. On the flipside, the same information may be disproved by others in one way or another, resulting in a good option for further investigation and possible lynch.
Did I answer you now?

Sage103082: I do have you as town so far but what would you do if you were scum? Would you lie then?
From what I've read and from following a couple of previous games, scum does whatever it takes to blend in with the rest of us, thus making it harder for us to find and lynch them. They certainly don't shy away from lying in order to succeed. So, if I were scum, I suppose that I would have to resort to lies whenever necessary, how successful I'd be though is a completely different matter.
Would you act differently if you were scum? Even if it meant blowing your cover?

RWarehall: Let's be perfectly clear. I assess that winners (and those who tried hard to win) are somewhat more likely to be town in my book under the premise that scum would have more to lose with all the attention. That's it.
For whatever reason you seem to think stating that thought makes me look more scummy.
Because it's too convenient for you. You basically try to give you bonus town points for nothing more than your own opinion on the prize matter. Let others do this. For whatever reason you seem to think stating that thought makes me look more scummy.

Yes you did, thank you. One more question - I see that you only speak of the scum talking about their actions afterwards; does this indicate that you consider it less likely they'd do so before they put their prize to use or that they'd use the same tactics? Yes, I do expect them to share information about how they night acted and did this and that. Most likely lies to throw the game off or show a buddy in a better light. Sage103082: I have been luck so far not to draw the scum card but I did draw a neutral role last game and even though I did not think I was acting different it seems that I was and I was called on it. Though some of my lurky-ness came from RL issues as well. If I was to draw scum and I am sure it is coming at some point as I am addicted to mafia games now, I am not sure I could pull it off. I am not a good liar at all. I would have to try to lie in order to try to win but I doubt I would get far.
I'm glad I am town for my first game, and didn't land on the other side as I'm a lousy liar; too stressful to keep track of everything as one lie brings another and so forth, yogsloth

And that's a reason to viciously insult the guy and vote for him? Right in the middle of - what was pretty good - scum hunting?

Oh, you think it's not? I'd take it as attempt to humor from someone who didn't get lynched in the first day as Mafia Strongman. This and I have to give him reasons to call me confrontational in order to advance my plans.

dedoporno: I'm not entirely sure that I understand you question. I'm pretty sure that if some of the winners are scum they will talk about their actions in a post factum manner. Like they did something and they achieved whatever result. This may or may not be true, though (most likely the latter, especially if the ability is something that is worth keeping for mid to end game). It's quite probable that they didn't really use their action that night or in the way they said, or the action was used but the effect was entirely different, etc. These unknowns are why I believe everything that comes from the winners as a result from their supposed actions should be analyzed and put to question rather than taken at face value. Again, I'm not sure I understood you properly and if this answer satisfies your question.
It does, thank you. What are your thoughts about RWarehall eagerness to answer all questions that were asked about the prizes? He's also the only one to talk about his prize in more details.
This is actually a question for all, so whoever wants to chime in, please do.
