Hey, mod, can I haz votecount?
And any development on the Crewdroog front?

Lifthrasil has covered my thoughts on the current situation and I'm getting the feeling that lurkers gonna lurk (lurk lurk lurk lurk), so maybe we should give flub some time to get a replacement and then finish this? I've heard a pineapple is available.

Go back in the dungeon this instant, boy! You'll be called when we are ready for you.

Sage103082: As we had some claimed paranoid players.
There are two kinds of paranoid. One is where your investigation always reads as mafia. The other means you can't opt out of using your ability (and maybe you need to alternate between players, but this I'm not so sure about).

I need to ponder on the entire CSPVG claim, but will be able to get back here tomorrow, since we're hosting a small party in a bit and I don't want to rush things.

Inactivity post. CSPVG claim is a weird one, but one that can't be analysed that easily today. I do find noteworthy though the fact that no one believes we may have two sane town cops in our midst. Let's see how it develops though.
The problem is this if CSPVG is telling the truth, you have to have two sane cops.

There are little point in scum having a faction cop. They already know who's with them or against them excepting little old me.

I have not heard from her.

However I did send some chicken soup, chocolate, whiskey, and a male strip-o-gram along with a PM asking about her.
Ugh. Those who played with me befor know Saturday is generally AFK for me. On mobile. Just read the worlds greatest coincidence, eh? Will try to find time tonight to do thorough analysis. See, I told you good stuff happens when CSPVG gets off his arse and actually plays.
I'm going through the thread from where I left off, and will take it step by step, so first question to RWarehall:

RWarehall: I[...] Days 1 & 2 I can only restrict conversation my PM is very vague on the subject but I suspect maybe it imposes a post limit.

Did you ask flub for clarification? If yes, did he offer you any? If no, why not?

But if there are two scum factions, they don't know if the "not with them" is town or scum. And being able to get a "not-town" read on someone not in their own faction does give some very interesting plays.
I was on the fence whether to even use it the two days I had it. Not sure I wanted to use a mostly useless power allowing someone to track or watch me on it. Felt even if I tried to use it as a claim of some sort, there would be too much a level of distrust as the power itself sounds kinda scummy.

Remember for me to win, I had to kill everyone or be 1 to 1 with a townie. I doubted I could turn restrictor into second to last townie alive. And then there would be the question of why no one would be restricted after Day 3. I could only go with, I restricted him, but he was killed by scum only so many times, not to mention how scummy that would have made me look.

Figured I had a better shot at ignoring it and claiming Vigi as a fallback plan.
And many of you don't believe it, but I was planning to play town as town the whole way. Now granted, if we had been lucky or good and caught a few scumearly , I might have evened the odds a little (just giving a sporting chance).

I'd like to point out I haven't discounted the option.
As you said in your other post it might make sense if there are two scum factions for one (or both) of them to have a cop.

Unfortunately, the way I see it, the more likely situation would be for yogs to be scum, and, having investigated an anti town, use that as a way to guarantee his safety (until the second scum team managed to take him out). But CSPVGs read says yogs is town. So unless their both scum, or CSPVG is insane / naive it's not possible. Unless we have another cop (please don't claim) I can't see flub giving us only an inaccurate cop...

Oh, and unvote JMich
I'm still not convinced, but at least your posting now and somewhat townishly.
Unless you have two mobs and a serial killer, now that would be crazy. I just don't buy a scum faction cop just to try to find me.

Yeah, that's the only thing that puts me off thinking we have two mafia factions... unless that's why your kill is restricted to N3 (by which time 6 players would be dead and you or one of the mafia factions might be gone)

And if we don't have two factions, the only reason I can see to have a mafia cop (other than finding you) is as a role claim.. but that would also assume we have a role cop.

The whole thing is just confusing as hell.
