JudasIscariot: That tall tower building is the Palace of Arts and Science and it's expensive, AFAIK, to rent space there but I don't know what constitutes as "expensive" for our company :)
Raising the GOG flag would be sufficient.

Don't give me ideas...you know how I take suggestions in this thread sort of seriously...

awalterj: How come is it always three guys? A fellow traveler from India just told me how he got attacked by three guys in Krakow and they only let him alone after he punched one of them and told them he'd kill them (at least that's what he told me)
Always three guys? Hm... in my case, I - being in a great mood - shoved another guy and he called two friends for support. I should mention that I shoved him because he whispered something to the girl I was dancing with, in a far too sensitive manner. I should also mention that I was in too good a mood to notice how screwed I was and provoked the guys more and more. I should also mention that I was saved by a friend who just grabbed my arm and pulled me out of there before things got ugly. I should also mention that two seconds later the same friend said "you haven't finished your drink", turned out to be insanely drunk, hadn't noticed that I was about to get beat up by three guys and had actually just approached me because he got lonely at our table. I should also mention that the girl I almost had the fight over was both disturbed and impressed by my behaviour. Impressed enough that when we left the club a few minutes later she jumped at me. I should also mention that while I was carrying her and just as we were about to kiss I stumbled over a terribly positioned flower pot in front of the club and her head got shattered on the sidewalk. I should also mention that we never met again and these days she's with a huge muscular guy who would have just crushed the flower pot.

So, to answer your original question: I have no idea.

Haha, judging by the thread it seems like a fairly rowdy place.

I came to the realization that I might not be able to eat much except chain food places there, if the local cooking is as meat heavy as it seems to be. Though I remember a Polish place in England that wasn't much trouble?

JudasIscariot: IIRC, we did have a merchandising errr thing a looong while back but I don't know what happened. Personally, I'd like to see some GOG-related merch because I like our graphic designers' work. That DRM free revolution shirt's graphics were made in-house :)
Would you kindly bring all those T-shirts you used to sell on GOG back, please? I would love to buy some! It would certainly be more meaningful than wearing a generic T-shirt by some high class brand!

Haha, thanks for sharing this enlightening story, so this is the stuff I'm missing out on. I'm glad nothing happened to the flower pot!

Yeah, good stuff. Was definitely worth it to move here. But I think those flower pots are kinda cursed. Another time my friend (the same one who saved my ass there) got shoved by some random asshole in front of that club and his face got buried in one of these pots. The dirty soft side, at least. Anyway, I think it's good that CDP don't have their headquartes in this tower (called the Palace of Culutre and Science, btw). Sooner or later all of the staff would be heavily injured or dead due to these flower pots.

You should know that flower pots are dangerous ever since Super Mario, so I'd not get too close to one. I must admit I prefer a more chill environment, like this here (nice Polish countryside, I don't even remember the name of the village it was so small, somewhere near Ostrowite near Rypin. My friends drove me there, I'd not find the place on my own that's for sure, no public transit there.)

I would like a GOG meeting and think Warsaw would be the right location for that. Maybe even some Blues could join us there. (And I also want to see Warsaw, E_A told me many good things about it.) :-D

Nice place. I don't like these villages, though. The people living there usually scare the shit out of me. :x

Have you been to that museum? Is it worth a visit? It's actually pretty close to my neighborhood, but I admit I've never been inside ...

Since I'm living very near to it too, I was there twice.
It's really nice and the old Arcade machines still work.

I was there in 2012 I think. It's pretty cool. I actually played PainStation there. And would have won if my coward buddy hadn't started bleeding. But generally a pretty nice place, they have some pretty cool ancient arcade cabinets there and you can learn a bunch of things.

The people in the countryside were the sweetest and most generous of all.

This, by the way, applies to every country I've been to, people in the countryside are generally nicer from the get-go whereas in big cities you first have to get to know people a bit better. I grew up in the countryside myself so when I'm in a big city it always alienates me to see people walk around with sort of invisible shields around them which isn't so much the case in the countryside.
