Sachys: nice bit of work - watercolour pens?

awalterj: Thanks! Those are Pentel waterbrushes, bought those in Japan in a stationary store. Very practical especially indoors in museums etc.
Ah yeah. Thought I recognised them. Always preferred just chalk, charcoal and a biro myself! ;)

HypersomniacLive: But now I want even more pics! :-)

Regarding the DRM-free Quest - were the people you met from Poland or visiting?
Both. I met lots of Polish people and also people from all over the world (hostel guests)

Here's some more pics, this is at Malbork. It's a great castle but must admit I didn't really like it as much as other castles I've seen. It's way too big, how the hell can you even garrison something and effectively defend a monster like that? My experience from playing with Lego castles and playing Stronghold is that a smaller castle can be held much more effectively.
Doesn't matter though as no castle has any defense against my siege methods (see pics)

That statue of Geralt oddly looks like Rowan Atkinson.

JudasIscariot: Those were Orens from a Collector's Edition of Witcher 2, well, one of the Collector's Editions of either Witcher 1 or 2. I do know that those are Orens, though :D

Also, no pics of the GOG Galaxy shirt? :)
Ah, Witcher Gold! Glad I didn't try to pay with those on the Polish buses etc.

About the GOG Galaxy shirt, I'll take some pics here in Switzerland next time I wear it. Here's a fun story about one of the times I wore it in Poland: A friend of mine from Warsaw invited me to go out to some place and when I joined up with her and her friends in the evening, I noticed they were all dressed up fancily. I was in my traveling outfit (I don't have 'nice' evening clothes, I travel with a 40l pack, one pair of shoes, one pair of pants). After getting something to eat at a fancy looking place we went to this club (Sireny Spiew) but the security wouldn't let me in, despite me wearing the neat GOG shirt and bringing very nice looking company. I asked the guy if my personality wasn't enough and he said that if I had nicer shoes and maybe at least some Jeans or something it would be fine. What is this, people care about clothing even after high school? I so confuse. At least he was polite about it and not a dick (in fact, haven't seen any rude Polish people in all the time I was there).
We went back to the restaurant and had another round of drinks, then I sent my friends back to the club as I didn't want them to miss the concert of their favorite DJ and I was tired anyway, I don't do the party all night thing, food and a round or two of drinks is plenty for me.

For some reason, I'd expect GOG.com to be better know within Poland and not perceived as another Steam. :(

Lovely paintings, I think we need an exhibition-thread. :-)

And what is this I hear of a GOG Galaxy shirt? Pic or it doesn't exist. ;-)

The GOG polo shirt is so nice that I only wore it for dinner or when I was generally not painting so I just realized I haven't got a single photo with the Galaxy shirt. It's in the laundry bag right now, I'll take some pics next time I wear it, promise!

In the meantime, here's a shot with the mandatory Poland shirt with the Eagle (not a chicken, yes yes...)

Just realized it makes one look even more like a tourist but that's ok, better to be seen as a tourist than an illegal immigrant or something like that :)

How long did it took to do them? The quality is extremly enjoyable!
@theGOGGalaxy-Shirt:
Want pics too!

BTW @Judas: Where can someone buy your "normal" merchandice like the "Join the DRM-free revolution-shirt"?
If it´s not sold regulary could you please consider selling some @gamescom; as gamescom does have the right infrastructure for that and your head company will be present at Gamescom as well!

You know, I am not sure what's going on with our merchandising plans or if we have any at all. Perhaps a wish is in order for GOG-related merchandise? :)

Thanks, took about 2,5 hours for the IL-2 and about 4 hours for the castle paintings, there are plenty of people who paint twice as fast as me but I compensate by being twice as stubborn so I still get the job done :)

And Here's some Hind, in Warsaw as well. I just noticed that the according heli sim is available on GOG, had no idea it was in the catalog.

It most certainly is! It's a given that if GOG offers T-shirts for sale, they will be sold out very fast. Maybe open an official thread for that and see what kind of feedback people give? I'm pretty sure the demand is high.

A thread wouldn't be seen everywhere, hence my recommendation to make a wishlist entry :)

IIRC, we did have a merchandising errr thing a looong while back but I don't know what happened. Personally, I'd like to see some GOG-related merch because I like our graphic designers' work. That DRM free revolution shirt's graphics were made in-house :)
