Fairfox: I can't bump the old 'New releaseses!' thread about the game in this here General section. Is that a new/old anti-necro implementation thang, or did the apparent spats of old see the thing locked?

Fairfox: I also feel the lack of response indicates the level that people seem to hold this game.
More likely that its gone midnight in most of Europe and people are drunk with it being payday and a public holiday weekend for many.

Have some faith. Or some fadge!

Sorry, I'm lost here. Are you really asking GOG to bring this game and/or its Special Edition?

Because they've been here for a long time. Maybe you're asking for something else, but that's the only title i see in your post. And yes, I've read your actual post (twice, in case I missed something).

Edit: I'm so sorry, I now realize you're asking for opinions about the game, it wasn't quite clear from your post (I realized after reading a third time to make sure). Well, I haven't actually played it, but I has my interest. Sorry I can't be of help and sorry for being a smartass/dumbass in the initial response.

I have the base game from a sale, and I quite like it. It is pretty punishing and even random sometimes, so I can see why some folks bash on it. But if you are ready for a more narrative experience (or better, a somewhat interactive narration) you'll most probably like it. It is a hit or miss game though. I really loved it. You might hate it. I would normally say "watch some videos", but the truth is they might ruin your experience (in a spoiler-ish way). I would suggest to give the demo a shot and when you ensure you like it, buy the base edition.

The special edition is way too expensive IMO.

tl;dr: interesting and IMO underrrated interactive narration, if that's down your alley.
