The ship fills with eager onlookers from all corners of the universe as a tall, shadowy figure takes his seat. Zombies come from below deck to mingle with the crowd.
A giant, undead penguin pokes his head up through a trapdoor, swaps his eye patch from the left eye to the right, and informs the waiting combatants that he and his band will play any song the loser of a fight wants to hear.

Noticing the shadowy figure, and feeling his glare upon him, BJ ducks back down below deck and rouses his band -
"Arrr, we best play some dark for his Shadowness and we best play it quick!"

"Let battle commence!"

Fight 1

Wobbling in from the left is (76) Blobulese, his Gelatinous body forming stumpy legs to help propel himself forward.

From the right enters (66) Scott Arnold, he straightens his glasses and assesses the threat in front of him.

Blobulese extends his body to envelope Scott's head and upper body, dissolving his hair and blazer.
Scott puts his fingers to his head and utilises his Event Reversal ability - Blobulese finds itself reverting to when it had acid in its stomach but without its natural resistence to the acid.
Blobulese slowly dissolves from the inside out before finding himself reformed but sat at the ships bar as a giant Penguin looks at him expectantly.

Scott bows to the crowd as he leaves getting muted applause as they are not sure exactly what just happened.

Fight 2

Sitting in the middle of the arena is (18) Shiny little trinket, a small silver ring with special powers.

(58) GOG Chan skips in from the right with GOG Bear clumping in behind.

While trinket fails to take control of GOG Chan's complex mind, his shinyness appeals to the little girls curiosity. GOG Chan puts him on her finger but is filled with rage as multiple 'where my cheevo?' messages spam her mind.
She unleashes high energy beams in anger, obliterating GOG Bear - who is casually munching on one of the zombies from the crowd - in the process.

GOG Chan and GOG Bear reappear in the bar while Shiny little trinket magics himself away from the arena, victorious.

Fight 3

Pouncing in to the arena, tail twitching, is (8) Neko Hime the cattiest Cat Girl around.
Stomping in opposite comes (48) Bramblejaw, drool dripping from his canine jaws.

"Meow you doing?" Neko addresses her hulking foe. Bramblejaw cocks his head in puzzlement.
"Lets stop fighting! Just hiss and make up." The bear/ wolf feels his roses wither and die on his shoulders as his anger builds.
Neko giggles "I’m just kitten around, cutie!"

As Neko flirts with the crowd Bramblejaw whips thorny vines to entangle the cat girl and pull her in close. His might jaws close around her pretty head and rip it clean off.
The shocked crowd cheers as Bramble licks the blood from around his muzzle and stomps out of the arena.

Neko Hime finds herself in the bar and excitedly exclaims "Ooh, Karaoke!"

Woohoo, the fights have already started!!!
Congrats to the first winners in the arena!

yay! the show's begun!

Now, for the rest of the tournament, everyone else will have to put up with her (bad, of course) singing coming from the bar.

Well, or at least until the owner can't stand it anymore and kicks her out. ;)

It’s happening!, aesome!

The game has officially begun! The first contenders are already lining up outside the virtual ring, and the tension in the air is almost tangible. The dice are ready, the rules are set – round one is underway.

Two enter – they walk in, glide in, storm in, roll in, slip through, burst forth or simply appear. Humans, machines, shadows, or something in between. But only one makes it out. The other stays behind in the digital dust. The duels have begun. There's no turning back.

The fights might be fun, but they're never pretty...

I'm just glad someone else will be rescuing Filibin Scones this time around.

Ewww, so basically Blobulese ate itself lol :P

[i]Blobulese slides over to the bar and orders a triple shot of anti-acids. Even though it lost its first fight, it had gotten its baptism as a fighter.
It turns towards the undead penguin by the trapdoor, and by making some barely intelligible gestures requests Drum Solo by The Lord Weird Slough Feg, as it doesn't have ears to hear with, but it enjoys feeling the drum beats vibrating through its gelatinous body.
Shaking like a pudding on top of a loudspeaker, Blobulese extends a tentacle from its body a raises a glass to Scott Arnold[/i]（ ^_^）o自

Bingley waits silently off to one side of the ship for his matchup to start while quietly wishing all the fellow contestants the best of luck..

ROFL! I'm pissing myself laughing while my poor Flush Fury is pissing himself dying... Crushed by an Ogre needing to potty! OH MY CURSED JAVA! No amount of therapy will ever, ever be enough. That visual is now etched in my mind. xD

Congrats on your brew-tiful win, Cappucinoelle! That was quite the malefic mocha move and a sinister roast to remember! ;)

Roll 1 of Fight 4 is just straight up nasty...

The Penguin is pleased with Blobulese request and breaks off a couple of zombies arms to use as drumsticks in order to grant it.

Fight 6

With a loud toot, (70) Herpie, a 1963 VW Beetle roars into the arena.
Wandering in opposite, looking morose, is (86) Michael Cavaliere. Many in the front row near him are overcome by a wave of depression. Except for the zombies. The zombies just be "Arrring" and muttering "Brainsss..." as always.

Herpie wastes no time in utilising his stunt skills to race round and round the arena, leaving Michael Cavaliere bent over double, spluttering in a cloud of black exhaust fumes.

Michael addresses the car "I was about to ask you for an autograph as the Herbie films were some of my favourites as a kid. But you're just an imposter, not a very good one either."
Herpie's headlights flash red as anger overtakes him.

Michael attempts to turn the Beetle's anger and jealousy into physical pain but underestimates Herpie's pure hatred of the more famous Herbie.
Wheels spinning, Herpie races up the ships mast before back-flipping off the top to land with a perfect 'squelch' on top of Michael Cavaliere.

The crowd goes wild and Herpie feels like the actual star of the show for a change.
Michael Cavaliere is at the bar where the mood has dropped a notch. A large Penguin regards him and asks "A sad song for you perhaps?"

Fight 7

(81) Klaas de Vries strolls into the arena confidently, many in the crowd look around in puzzlement as they feel like the fight has finished but can't remember it actually happening.
(49) Dreambeard strides in, his armour immaculate in the waning sunlight. A magnificent Broadsword strapped across his back, he takes a deep breath and smiles "Adventure awaits me again after such a long time without".

Klaas looks his opponent in the eye and mentally commands him that he has already lost the fight and should go see a penguin about playing a song to drown his sorrows.
Unfortunately for Klaas, after a year of infinite wealth and people fawning at his feet, Dreambeard's imagination is virtuously non-existent making him immune to De Vries mental superpowers.

Unsheathing his mighty sword, Dreambeard steps forward and proclaims "I am here to reclaim my sense of adventure" and with one fell swipe, cuts Klaas in half.
The crowd cheers, Dreambeard smiles and Klaas de Vries finds himself below decks looking for a giant penguin so he can request a song.

Michael Cavaliere finds himself in the bar and stands uncomfortably for a long moment, uncertain what to think about the fact that his demise at the end of his unsurprising defeat by a car, even if one that seemed uncharacteristically vulnerable to his particular abilities, was not the, well, final end, but quite relieved that it was at least instant and didn't add any drawn-out pain to the inherent suffering of existence.
Eventually he sighs, shrugs and manages to work up the courage to answer the terrible penguin's question before the bar gets more crowded:
"Actually, I was thinking that One of Us Will Be Next by Lord of the Lost would be quite fitting, wouldn't you say?"
