Update regarding Surgeon Simulator, see attached screenshot. Permission to share response granted.
(GOG support has been contacted regarding the missing Soundtrack bits since the devs don't seem to know what's up with that.)

Snolus: Updated Broken Sword 1/2 with a source for where to (legally ;)) aquire missing language files.
Sorry that I'll have to rain on your parade. But I tested it and it seems as if "Broken Sword" on this official page is in fact referring to "Broken Sword Director's Cut" - same goes for Broken Sword 2.

So in other words. Those packages (*.dat file) are meant for the Director's Cut of the game and not the original ones (which needs *.clv files). Since GOG already have those included, they are useless for GOG customers.

Great, this is what the dev support themselves told us. >_<

Did not know that you asked them. Could have saved some time ... but yeah, seems we are out of luck here - again.

Yeah, we mentioned the classic versions specifically and we were told to use the language files there. Time to contact them again I suppose.

If you own the game you might as well test it yourself. As I said - two different type of files and in the DC there's the *dat file used for speech (in fact you can see that the GOG version has exactly the same files in the installation folder as the files you are able to download from their site) the originlas are using a subfolder "speech" with 2 *.clv in it. Before I realized this I already tried to put the dat file in main and subdir of the original - without any effect. Anyway - even IF this would work the movies would still be in English only. You can get still different language movies on ScummVM ... but no speech files.

I believe you, don't worry. :P
I own the games on disc. Don't think it includes the originals.

If you own the games on disc I 'd rather persume that you ARE owning the originals. Did they even release the DVs physically?

I recently came across a few games which have a Mac build on Steam but not on GOG. I’m pretty sure there are more, I have not been keeping track but these are just the ones I noted recently. However, most of them are cases where the rights to the Mac build are owned by a different publisher, so I’m not sure if we are including those cases? (I noticed that “XCOM: Enemy Unknown" is already on the list however)

The Bureau: XCOM Declassified

Published by Aspyr (Mac):
Bioshock Remastered
Homeworld Remastered Collection
Mafia III
Sid Meier’s Civilization IV
STAR WARS - The Force Unleashed Ultimate Sith Edition
Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy
Star Wars: Jedi Knight II - Jedi Outcast
STAR WARS Knights of the Old Republic
STAR WARS Knights of the Old Republic II

Published by Feral Interactive:
Hitman: Absolution
LEGO Star Wars - The Complete Saga
Mafia II
Sid Meier’s Railroads!
EDIT: Tropico 4

I wonder if GOG or anyone has contacted Aspyr, they have blooper teams games published here which makes me think there's atleast hope albeit a minor one unlike Feral Interactive, the different builds are also shown on the games themselves so customers already know which version they will buy and are supported for the game.

Second treatment sounds a little like a shitlist tbh even if it's true but in this case it's definately out of the devs/publishers like 2K's hands if MAC/Linux ported games done by Feral etc flatout refuses to put them here. In this case it would better have a thread dedicated to devs and publishers who should be put at a permanent avoid at cost list and pubs/devs like Feral, Wolcen Studio, Capcom etc and many more would fit nicely in there considering how they see GOG users.

Bit late, but removed that from Broken Sword, then.
Sorry for the false hope, everyone!

However at least Germans who are missing German language for this or other games can be helped here.

Why the hell is this on here? Actually, what happened to the one-liner reasons for the additions.

Also, is the OP not current anymore? Pretty sure BATTLETECH should still be under Special Mentions unless the "GOG users who pre-ordered require a 3rd-party account in order to use their custom Mech skins, the Steam version doesn't" fits on one of the spreadsheets or was it confirmed fixed by someone understood that they needed to be offline when testing.
