Niche games. Definitely won't ever be purchasing these games, myself.

Hoping for at least one or two big AAA or indie new releases this Friday besides Horizon on Tuesday. Regardless of any sales, exceedingly little in the existing GOG catalog interests me enough to purchase that I don't already own.

That would be really nice although I already have those games. Now about the German versions of "Chains of Satinav" and "Memoria"...

Finally, took them long enough.

Would have to be finished first, doesn't it?
Sounds like this didn't exactly come that far in development.
A shame, looks promising from the promotional bits and pieces.

ENCODYA is an indie point-and-click adventure game developed by Chaosmonger set to be released on January 26.

The gameplay trailer has the GOG logo at the end: https://youtu.be/5J4UawuykX0

About the game:

It’s 2062. Tina – a 9 years old orphan – lives with SAM-53 – her big clumsy robot guardian – on a rooftop makeshift shelter in Neo-Berlin, a dark megalopolis controlled by corporations. The protagonist is an urban jungle kid, which has learnt to live alone, scavenging dumpsters of the dystopian city, eking out a living of scraps. Her funny robot always with her, programmed to protect the girl no matter what. One day the little girl discovers that her father left her a very important mission: to finish his plan and save the world from its grayness! The two then start an incredible adventure, jumping into different realities, full of bizarre robotic creatures and grotesque human beings. Through lot of puzzles and exciting dialogues, they’ll find out the true meaning of being alive.

Still unknown (as per the article on Wikipedia), but maybe GoG manages (or already have managed?) to track down the current holder one of these days.
With already 6 years of not being claimed by anyone (Codemasters lost the rights in 2014) one would think that the rights should have reverted back to the original, now defunct developer, Rebel Act in the meantime?
https://www.mobygames.com/company/rebel-act-studios mentions the project manager (Xavier Carrillo) and the CEO (Juan Diaz-Bustamante) by name, if anyone feels like doing some digging and tracking down themselves.
Other Rebel Act-associated or/and succeeding companies would be:
Friendware
Digital Legends Entertainment
Mercury Steam Entertainment
with just the latter two still being around.
