It's not game, but movies that are confirmed to release in the future, like Assassins' Creed and Watch Dogs. Damn, cannot wait to see them, especially SPlinter Cell movie. Wow!!

deadfolk: No, but that would be great. I've almost pulled the trigger on this on Steam, but I'd definitely pick it up from here.
Thanks, will just have to wait :)

Me: Would you ever consider releasing Braid on GOG.com?
Jonathan Blow: Yeah, I have been talking to them about it but it doesn't seem to be high on anyone's priority list.

Me: Six months ago I asked about #Braid being released on GOG and you said you were talking to them about it. What's the word?
Jonathan Blow: Discussions just sort of stopped. I think they are a lot more interested in The Witness than Braid.

tfishell: WTF is up with GOG only accepting the game once it was greenlit on Steam? I was hoping GOG was above looking at Steam to determine what should be sold here. (Maybe this was a one-time thing...)

mistermumbles: Eh? What a weird conclusion you make. Here, take a look at some of these games that were put on GOG before they got released on Steam (some of which were going through the GL process, but weren't/aren't approved yet), as well as some that are not on Steam at all (although they may have been found elsewhere, too), some of which are fairly recent releases:
Inquisitor
La Mulana
Eador: Genesis (the only way people could get it on Steam was through a loophole sort of deal)
Smugglers V
Lords of Midnight
Zafehouse: Diaries
Signal Ops
Driftmoon
The Cat Lady
Ring Runner
...

In the end, does it really matter? I doubt it. There's no point getting worked up about something that's ultimately so trivial.
I know it wasn't supposed to be an exhaustive list but 'The Real Texas' immediately sprang to mind too!

triock: Good news for every horror adventure fan - Downfall is coming to GOG.

How could I've missed this info for two days? : )
Excellent news!

GOG most likely thinks there's not much reason to bring Braid here by itself, since it's been available for so many years and has been DRM-free in several Humble Bundles, but they'll most likely release it a week or two before the Witness releases to drum up publicity.

...and on a completely unrelated note, a response on Facebook comfirms that Blackwell Epiphany, the final game in Wadjet Eye's Blackwell series, is coming to GOG! Not too surprising since the other four are here already, but still good news!

I would like Braid to come here at some point. I have yet to score it in a humble bundle, but I haven't heard of the Witness before....I'll have to look into that.

Good to hear about Blackwell. I'll assume my shelf copy will automatically update to include the last game in the series?

I don't think so. My guess is that they will sell it separately at first and maybe integrate it into the Blackwell bundle after some time (months or even years) has passed.

My second guess, but I'll still get it to complete the series. I hate having incomplete series when other entries are already here.

Wow! While different than Dark Matter, two eerie sci-fi games added to GOG's catalog! I'm going to guess "soon" means sometime this month.

I'm still waiting on Outlast myself :)
I will update this thread today

I get the impression that Swapper is the better game by a long shot. Everything I've seen or read about Dark Matter just gives me an iffy feel. The former just oozes quality that the latter seems to lack.

I actually bought Dark Matter already on a whim and it doesn't seem all that bad, but I did notice The Swapper won a lot of rewards already and the textures and environments look absolutely amazing, so I won't argue with you on that one.
