We need Sega for the Total War series and other great games that they hold the rights to. And while I love Medieval 2 I still prefer Rome.

I upgraded for BF2 and Medieval II, ah, whole weeks worth of time put into those two alone. I also played tons of AOE 2-3 around that time.

Immaturity rocks. My Dad's using it to make up for his intellectuality and creepiness. One time my uncle (his brother) called my Dad on Skype while I was visiting, it was about some important and urgent issue. When my Dad showed up on screen he was wearing a banana on his head. I idolize that man.

It was a birthday notice. :D

Mine is in a couple weeks. I need to come up with some clever way to give out a game, I hate random.org.

I never ruled out that aspect, but the games aren't really that old to begin with, outside of a select handful.

You guys are all correct in that the demographic is 20+ all the way to 40s, as that's usually the average median. But I never said which was the majority (and I couldn't tell you either way).

They're way after an era where people would care, I think. That's what I'm saying.
I think you're taking that a little too literally. :P Even so, of the top 30 bestselling games here only 5 of them were made after 2000. It's reasonable to assume that the people buying those games remember them from their own youth, putting the average age at least a decade higher than your estimate.

According to the ESA in 2014 29% of all gamers in the US were under 18 years old, 32% were between 18-35 and 39% 36 years and older.
