I have a question of a technical nature about adjudicating conflicting actions in a mafia game.

Can someone who considers themselves knowledgeable about such things please PM me.
I have no idea what this is about and Shouldn't care too much but if you have problems with something like action order, you could use something like this:

1. Immunities
2. Controlling another player's actions
3. First strike non-killing actions
4. Gaining actions
5. Losing actions
6. Redirecting / replacement effects
7. Roleblocking
8. Protecting
9. Rescuing / Reviving
10. Sending items or messages
11. First strike killing actions
12. Killing actions
13. Gathering information
14. Anything else
I read about Mafia games (in links there were provided) and I would love to participate sometime in the future, when there will be a chance. :)

While the two current ones are still midgame, once one of them ends, a new one will open up for signees, so there should be plenty of chance to join up ;)
Damnations game #11 looks very good from what ive read I recommend signing up for that once it starts (I estimate end of month)

I cant play as I know the setup though :(

From looking at the games both look like they are going to end around the same time?

I know I'm the last in the queue, but I have a game sort-of-ready. I have the overall design pretty much nailed, I just have to fine tune the nuts and bolts of the thing.

I like this a lot. Short games with maybe 7-9 players run by mods who want to experiment/gain experience before trying one of the big games. Plus it wouldn't be as high pressure, since the games would be shorter.

But yeah, I'm totally hooked on Mafia now. I love that concept.

Well, I was thinking run by experienced mods with a few experienced players, but orientated to a newbie audience, i.e. everything is as stable as possible to introduce new players - a few "normal" power roles, no invented power roles, balanced teams... etc. Maybe put a cap on the number of "2+ games" people allowed to sign up for it... But yeah, it's one idea. :)
I already did 9 players game and it was quite difficult to fill it with players. There were 6 new players at the start of game and 3 of them replaced out for more experienced players. There seemed to be not enough interest to gain more players.
The thing to do is put a post out asking everyone - call it 'Mafia Recruitment' or something similar...
