I'm on board with the plan, but there's a hole in your logic there. You both being alive doesn't confirm Joe as town, it just confirms he decided to block rather than performing a night kill. Hopefully one of you would have useful results though as he can't block both of you.

Yes, that's the one thing that's bugging me, but dedo's claim still seems the most unlikely, and I haven't seen a reasoned response to the suspicions of the claim, whereas Catte and Joe have both provided much more substance in their defence.

As bjg has pointed out, if dedo is a Mafia Bookie, and has guessed right for today's lynch, then there's potential for a double NK, which would give Mafia the victory, so I think this puts no lynch out of the question?

And yes, this is taking the claims at face value, but what other option do we have other than complete guesswork?

Agreed. Either way reasonably we will have to choose one of Joe or dedo, one of the two who cannot be accounted for during the N1 NK, 50/50 is the best town has at this point. If you think it is more likely to be Joe and Catte mafia team, please reason it out for us.

nmillar can only get reads on Joe and Catte, and this may be the only way to be sure who did it if nmillar or anyone else goes down, as Catte should be jailed if Joe is who he claims to be. With dedo and Catte, the only way to verify will be if dedo dies as a Bodyguard by guessing the right target - because if we assigned dedo a target and it was mafia Catte, then Catte would know who NOT to target. It is also possible for there to be a double kill if the allusion to the Bookie role is a mafia Bookie.

If you see a better way, let us know. One of us will try to check in before end of Day if we need to change our vote, but the soonest that will be is approx. 7 hours or so from now.


True, but if he does not jail someone, Joe proves to us he is not a jailor. If he is a town jailor Joe should not have a gun. If he jails or blocks anyone else, we should know. So unless you and Joe are a team, it is the only way I can think of to prove it between you two. If town goes down, we go down fighting.

I think it's a pretty sound plan, I just wanted to point out it wasn't quite as simple as you summed it up back there.
There's still the possibility that Trent has given the mafia the ability to use their power and factional kill at the same time. It's sometimes done to strengthen a small mafia team, particularly given that in this game they seem to be 20% of the players against a town with a lot of PRs.
I'm not sure what to do if that's the case, he could kill one of you and block the other.
