I don't know why scum would visit you for a non-kill as I'm not scum. Technically they are a lot of other things they could be doing for various reasons - they can block you, role cop you or whatever else there might be. You were the closest thing to a confirmed Town. As someone suggested already there was a good change someone might try to protect you even though you asked against it. If the scum can't make sure the can make the kill go through they are likely to consider doing something else - kill another and still do something else about you. Any sort of information gained in any way can serve in any. For scum that's usually in the form of WIFOM. That's why I said only scum would know.

The second part of whether they did is in regard of Vitek and nmillar as there is a possibility they are the scum team and managed to get cleared in chain of happy events. But as Catte said, and I concede to it, if they were able to pull that out of the the hat I'm just going to tip mine and let them have it.

I thought mafia probably wouldn't target BJ (risk of them being protected, and also it's their first game)
I thought Vitek's chances had a good balance of carrying out the kill if he's mafia, or being targetted if he's town

I'm a Bodyguard Bookie. Each night I can chose to protect one player and if they are going to get killed I die instead. Each night I can try and guess who is going to be the lynch during the following day. If I get that right I get 1-shot Bulletproof ability (passive, I asked) which would allow me to survive a successful bodyguarding (is that a word?!).

I had a N0 chance to guess the lynch of D1. At first I was going to guess GH based on simple statistics but I felt ashamed about it and went for Catte instead (ikr?).

On N1 I protected ZFR as BJ specifically called against protecting them. I assumed some sort of personal preservation ability and chose to protect the only other person I had as Town - ZFR. If I died in the process the second Towniest player would have been alive and would have known that everything I said was true and he could have discarded any related suspicions.
