There is no "automatically" here. But yes, it does give Joe town-points.

We have a situation where player X makes a comment that could easily be, and was, interpreted by others as rolefishing/scummy. I could see a Mafia player more likely to wait and see how others react and try to (openly or not) to push for the lynch than to immediately Town-read them.

OK, I can see now how it might look like I'm pushing the interpretation "Those who Town-read Pooka re town, therefore I'm Town myself because I Town-read Pooka", but I'm not. I'm Town-reading specifically Joe. Not strongly, but I do. Everyone else make up their own minds.

On a re-read I'm going to say my biggest suspet is Vitek. The quick jump on Gym, backing-off then hammering. Plus his interatction with catte toDay morning does seem off. dedo and nmillar come second.

For the exact reason I've already stated. Voting Catte felt like I was being influenced by previous games, whereas Pooka was entirely this game, without any other influences, so it made the most sense in my mind.

Given the odd postings from both in this game day, I'm starting to think that Joe and Vitek may be the most likely scum team, though Catte doesn't get a free pass just yet.

Yes, correct. I was suspicious of Catte and Pooka, but felt the suspicion of Catte was from previous game experience, so i kept my vote with Pooka.

Well, why I didn't drop everything I was doing and start rejoicing that we'd caught mafia when Gym started contradicting himself and assuming false information is that Gym tends to get things confused time to time and though it did look possibly like a scum slip I was aware it could be what it turned out to be.
