- town nmillar wanted to provide an answer to bj's question and so avoid his lynch
- scum nmillar wanted the people voting him to back off by bluffing that he's got a useful role

Both are possible, but I feel the second is more likely to get someone to give an offer of a claim...

ZFR I consider likely town, and dedo could be possible scum, but I was mainly focusing on how your posts seemed to lean you imo at that time.

No, I hid my novice modifier so as not to get offed by scum in N1.....I made up the recent bits about trying to dissuade town from investigating me so they wouldn't trip the PR so as to hide that modifier if I could & not risk being NKd(i.e. letting scum know of my vulnerability)...and was trying to keep that going until at least D2 when my PR would go into effect and i'd be safe from NK.

Also re my initial post: As I said awhile back, it was to hide the actual PR and not nerf it's usefulness against scum for as long as possible while also seeing how people would react(so I could get some reads on others).

Just assuming for the moment that you're telling the truth... what was the point in keeping that a secret when you initially claimed?
By claiming a "normal" PGO you were safe from mafia NKs, but you also set yourself up as completely uninvestigable. It probably would have been better to claim fully at that point because this reveal comes across as mafia squirming.

I'm not sure what to make of this. On one hand it's gotten way too convoluted to wave it off but on another what kind of scum play is that in the first place?

It certainly exists on mafiascum.net, but doesn't give any indication of how common it is.

nmillar engaged with the Cop investigation request right after it was made, yet forgot about it. Then again I can understand IRL getting in the way of remembering things. And I can't see a reason for scum!nmillar pretending to forget about it either, so...

Then again, maybe we should cut Gym some slack about recalling Day-chat too. It was mentioned this game and it was declared by the mod only last game, so I can see memory playing tricks on you.
