trentonlf: Do I think Hunter is the CL? Could be for all I know.
That doesn't mean the same as "since Hunter is the cult leader" which you said in that post though.

That was in jest to flub's post 33 that he addressed to me.
trentonlf do you think Hunter65536 is stressed about the graffiti or the fact we're on to his cult leader status??
Put your vote where your mouth is, gentlemen. It is done like this:

Vote Hunter.
I think Bookwyrm627 is right.

His reaction to my not serious comment of him being the cult leader does seem to suggest the latter is what he is stressed about.

Oh vote me then. Learned something new though, seeking explanation is a "reaction" apparently caused by "stress".

Bookwyrm627: Vote Hunter.
Your mouth was on Hunter then? Because of all the stress, I presume?
avatar
Lifthrasil: That sounds like a bit of circular reasoning! (also known as WIFOM in other circles)
avatar
flubbucket: I do believe my head is spinning.

But seriously Lifthrasil, how would you feel about trentonlf getting mad at HypersomniacLive suggesting No Lynch on Day One??
Hyper-thetical that would feel justified and well-known. If someone should suggest no-lynch, trent has to get mad at him or her, out of tradition. :-)
avatar
flubbucket: I would totally recruit Sage first if I were Cult Leader.
Actually I do agree to that. Sage is awesome as scum. ... OK, she's awesome anyhow, but what I mean in this context is that she is a very good scum player.

...only, if I know our luck, she probably is the CL already and we're all screwed.

And now she doesn't even have a vote on her. Time to change that:

vote Sage

Sage, are you CL?

...but if not, does trent seem a bit defensive to you too?

Yet, there is a precedent where the exact opposite happened last game which was similar if not the same as this one.

What? Where? Hyper didn't suggest a no-lynch. Or did I miss that completely? If so, please point me to where he did that.

I wasn't referring to Hyper, but Trent.

In the previous C9 game of JMich Trent picked up a lot of heat which lead to him exposing himself as some power role because he was defending the idea of D1 no-lynch being viable in this particular game. It should come back to you, as far as I remember you took part in that argument back then.

You're right. OK, so it isn't a given that trent would attack a no-lynch suggestions. But why did you pick Hyper specifically in your hypothetical question for someone suggesting no-lynch?

And a bit broader on topic: I think no-lynch should be out of the question! We are in a cult game. So not only will town shrink at night, the cult will grow at the same time and giving the cult more time to develop, will quite surely hurt our beautiful town. We need to stamp this new-fangled hoodie nonsense out as fast as possible! (plus, lynching people for The Greater Good is what we do. No one here should have a problem with that!)
