Don't think I have CD Project Red forum stuff. So like the other guys said, I don't have to do anything?

moonshineshadow: So if I am not registered on cd projekt red forums everything will be fine right? Nothing I need to to if I understand all this correctly?
I think so. Just means you could go there and post with your GoG account now (presumably).

snowkatt: and what about those of us who have no cd projekt red account ?
avatar
tinyE: Can someone explain to me in small words that I will understand what CD PROJEKT RED is how, if at all, it effects me?
If you don't have a CD PROJEKT RED account - this does not affect you.

In short, CD PROJEKT RED is our "sister company", if I may - we are parts of the same business group. We share an office building and do Witcher-y stuff together from time to time, and generally are good friends. :)

Let's hope so. But while I think the merge is a nice idea I hope there are not too many people who have to change their name because of it. I would be really pissed if I had to do that :D

this.
WAT TO DO ???!!!!?!?!!?!?!?!!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!

Grargar: What will happen if I choose to opt out from the merging process?

Your account will be locked and you'll have to contact GOG.com to reenable it if you still want to participate in community discussions.

:/
where does it say that?

I hope that too.

EDIT: A blue answer, fine.

Here. I guess it says that the CDPR account will be locked if you don't perform a merge.

On the thread in the CD projekt red forum. So I think this is only for people who have an account there and don't want the merge. I suspect it has nothing to do with our accounts.

Cool, thanks for the quick reply.

To anyone else, or you Ciris if you aren't too busy, what is PROJEKT RED? For all I know it could be a black market site setting nuclear weapons or better yet, orphans. Is this something I'd want an account with?

CD PROJEKT RED are the guys that made The Witcher series, among many others. :)
Does this mean that you'll be moving GOG to a forum where searching actually works?

The developers of the Witcher games, as well as the mother company of GOG.com.

They make the Witcher games, and own GoG I think... or are owned by who ever owns GoG.

Edit: ninja'd!
