17 - Tridris - Drow Necromancer

Since we don't see any other clues I'm saying to my "companions":
"So we have the etching of the old lady on the door and 4 buttons - Bird, Fly, Cat, Spider ... that weird flying Elf may be onto something... I have feeling that I heard something like that in the past but I can't remember now"
Godbran Helloburger the Halfling Thief turns around and cries out:
"For the love of Longbottom Leaves, it really seems impossible to have some shadow-hugging privacy in this wretched place!"

He notices Fognino the Goblin Shaman and Cardan the Half Orc Berserker and approach them on a safe distance from the eye-slit door and whispers to them.
"Well, since we are here together let's decide together what to do next.
From what I was able to hear and understand behind that door is a creature with multiple feet, some Centipede maybe, or a group of creatures of short stature."
It called me a beardless Dwarf and a Goblin-kin as an insult, so we know for sure it/them doesn't belong to those races.
It fears Orcs as it was alarmed when it saw Cardan approaching the door.
From all this I believe we have two options:
1. You two hide somewhere out of sight and let me approach the door and try to talk to this creature again.
2. We try to bust the door and prepare for a fight in which case I hope you can provide some sort of throwable exploding potions that can damage wider area or multiple foes.
I'm not very fond of option no.2 as there are only 3 of us and we don't know for sure what awaits behind the door.
What say you?"

46 - Gold - Goblin Ranger
Remembering something important, I say to my companions (so no other people can hear it):
"It may be a bit stupid but I remembered that there is a song called "There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly" in which an old woman who swallows increasingly large animals, each to catch the previously swallowed animal, but dies after swallowing a horse.
In song there is the progression from fly to spider, bird, cat, dog and cow, finishing with the horse.
I think the order of these animals may be puzzle related because we have the old lady (door) e Bird, Fly, Cat, Spider (4 buttons).
What do you think?"

"Yea, that was it, I remember hearing it once..." Seems kind of out of place but that may be it, honestly, don't see another solution... but with one we should start, fly or cat?

"Well, let's go with this, we shouldn't waste time, since it was you who got the idea do you wanna do the honor?"

Ok.
I approach the buttons and press them in the order described ("fly, spider, bird, cat") to see what happens.

And I'm placing myself at the position that if something shoot from the door, or at the door (or Gold), I won't get hit.

12 - Garethianopolisian - Half Orc Ranger

Me wonder at Pater Alf. Me not sure if he mad or brave. Me stand a way back. Not want to be near door. If Orcs attack.Me wish orcs friendly. Me hungry
49 - Zazz - Goblin Berserker

Zazz creeps along the tunnel towards the metal door. He positions himself behind the Half-orcs.
After bashing the ghoul's head, I feel revitalized! I pick up my mace from the floor. It's not good that the group split in 3 parts. I enter the right room with the statues. Yes! Let's press "fly, spider, bird, cat" and see what happens
While carefully advancing, Calad tries to spot anything, such as openings and objects, not accessible from the ground.

- If he spots anything, he stops to have a better look.
- If there doesn't appear to be anything to spot, he continues until seeing the others stop before the door, stopping well behind them.

"I hides, you knocks and opens the door, yess! Then we see. We enter, we take. They hostile, we kills if have riches".

Fognino, Goblin Shaman.
[47 Raybur Wolfsktaa - Male Dwarven Cleric]

Rayburn stands near the metal door, still undecided of what it's most disgusting between the foul smell or Garethianopolisian licking the door, in any case, he decided he's no longer hungry.
He's examining the large metal door, devising a hundred plans on the best way to approach the situation when Peter Alf waltz through the tunnel and knock on the door leaving him open-mouthed.
Still astonished he decided that maybe this course of action it's for the best, trying not to think that he's in a forsaken tunnel surrounded by orcs and gobling trying to break into a forsaken room where he will most likely find orcs and goblins he closes his nose and hides behind Peter Half so whoever may open the door will not be able to see him straight away.
*If the door will be opened Raybur will evaluate if he has a clear path into the room for the purpose of casting spells.*
While he doesn't understand exactly what was said, he does understand that the language he heard from behind the eye-slit door was a Goblin tongue, and it didn't sound too friendly. Valius decides it's a good idea to further wait to see if the halfling thief can calm them down and hopes the big half-orc has enough sense to get out of the way and let the halfling calm things down as that angry Goblin tongue seemed to be shouted when the half-orc approached the door too, but just in case things go wrong, he hopes the friendly mushroom tribe will keep the peace, but if not, he's got his broadsword at the ready, unbeknownst to everyone else.
