If a NPC is attacking you, then it's an enemy, not a NPC ! :)

Look for an inn, ask for directions if needed. Inns have signs above their front doors so they are not that hard to find. Ask NPCs for directions. Usually, you can find whores, jesters and maybe some wizards outside at night.

Right-click on the button instead of left-clicking.

Also, again why is this post on the general forum instead of the elder scrolls series subforum?

All of the Elder Scrolls games share the same forum; assuming that the forums were seperated before, someone forgot to fix the forum link to go to the new grouped forum and instead it will redirect you to the general forums.


A lot of these forums are so dead tho that you're better off just going to general and asking there about whatever game is giving you issues.
The only friendly NPCs at night are priests and the occasional hooker, neither of them will help you with anything if I remember correctly. There's nothing you can do at night time other than kill, break into buildings, or go to an inn.

It says "Give me your map, says Moar Adavi. I'll try to indicate where it is." (the nearest inn)

Since the inn panel is just behind the text, it shouldn't be too hard to find it ! :D
