Across the years, Dungeon Siege and Deus Ex series gathered a massive fanbase among the gamers worldwide. Today Dungeon Siege Collection, as well as Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director’s Cut and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided arrive on GOG.COM in all DRM-free glory.

Dungeon Siege Collection (-85%) includes three parts of the cult fantasy RPG series, along with the DLC titled Treasures of the Sun. The Dungeon Siege series was born in 2002 from the Gas Powered Games studio members' passion for the RPG genre. The title captivated gamers around the world with its rich fantasy world, beautiful 3D graphics, and mechanics that were easy to grasp even for the beginners in the RPG domain. It was only a matter of time when the sequel was released in 2005 with the expanded world and a more complex storyline.

Over the years, Dungeon Siege became a cult classic. This led to a movie adaptation of the game featuring Jason Statham and, finally, to the third part of the series. This time it was created by Obsidian Entertainment (veterans of Baldur’s Gate) and published by Square Enix. Released in 2011, Dungeon Siege III introduced gamers to an innovative combat system that made the gameplay even more dynamic and engaging.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution (-85%) is also a good example of revamping a cult series. After Deus Ex (2000) and Deus Ex: Invisible War (2003) made a lot of fans thanks to the cyberpunk setting and RPG elements, the series went into a hiatus for nearly a decade.

Human Revolution lets us revisit the same dystopian universe of the future, albeit its story is set a few decades earlier. The world is divided between the supporters and opponents of human augmentations. The main protagonist, Adam Jensen, is a former SWAT member and the head of security at a tech company. He is being cast into the above-mentioned strife after suffering heavy wounds and being biotechnologically enhanced in order to save his life. During the game, the player can expand the main character’s augmentation further, making him even more lethal.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (-85%) further expanded on adventures of Adam Jensen, merging action elements with RPG decision making, that changed the face of the storyline. One of its highly praised elements was the so-called Breach - an alternative game mode set in the virtual world. On top of that Deus Ex series was even further expanded with the successful comics series.

Now you can revisit the fascinating universes of Dungeon Siege and Deus Ex once more, thanks to the Square Enix Publisher Sale on GOG.COM featuring deals up to 89% off until 4th May 2020, 1 PM UTC.

takezodunmer2005: Bah, my DXHR steam saves are incompatible with the GoG version! It's a good thing I already beat the game, I'll just start on the story version so I can beat it faster so I can carry on to DXMD!

LiefLayer: I tried and my saves are compatible for Human Revolution.
Really, where are your gog version save located then?

Mine are located in C:\Users\MyUsername\Documents\My Games\Deus Ex HRDC with the naming convention: GAMER1_4 GAMER2_4 while the steam version is GAMER1 GAMER2

Not saying you're wrong, just want some info as I want to use my old steam saves! :)
I purchased 6 months ago the Deus Ex package on Steam, would have I known it would come to GoG, I probably would have waited... Steam client uninstalled my game with no warning, the only positive in that is that they keep a copy of the saves, so I haven't lost my progress. But I won't repurchase it here as some fanboys do.

Anyways, I highly recommend DE:HR! MD is also fine (tiny bit less as many people are saying), but I haven't finished it yet. Enjoy ! :)

I always said that stores clients is DRM.
And now, when we see here the game with content locked behind the client (Galaxy and online check), this is just once again confirmed.

GOG, you are very close to the red line. On the day when I can’t download the DRM-free offline installers here, it makes no sense to buy games here. You play with fire - this is your only advantage over your competitors. If I need a game store with a client (and DRM, as we see), I will choose Steam.

I copied/pasted the saves from the steam version on the same folder
C:\Users\MyUsername\Documents\My Games\Deus Ex HRDC
but my steam saves are with the same naming convention as the gog version GAMEA1_4

maybe it's because I played the game later on.
Try to install the steam version (before that move the old save file). Now just download the saves from the cloud, after that load a save file in the steam versione and save again.
I think that should fix your problem.

I just came here to inform about the "discovery", but it seems to have already surfaced.

Either GOG fixes it, or I'm going to refund BOTH games (and this would be my first refund ever GOG wise).

GOG, this time you dropped the ball hard. Just a warning that from now on I will be very wary of my future purchases, if I need to find proof of your inconsistency through a SCENE GROUP instead of your trasparency.

Disappointing discovery with the Galaxy-locked Mankind Divided DLC, but I'll give GoG the benefit of the doubt here. Might just have been an oversight on their part due to not being able to test things as thoroughly as they're used to, being confined to working remotely from home and all that.

I'm in no real hurry to start playing it right now anyway, so, as far as I'm concerned, they have a little less than 30 days to fix this before I'm going to file for a refund.
Does someone know how I get the english version of Dungeon Siege 2? I downloaded the english installer, but only the spoken language is english, the written texts are all in german! That`s really confusing.
I couldn`t find an option ingame and also no language setup exe in the game folder and the folder that the game creates in the "user" section. So how do I get the english version that I want to play?

DLC being online-locked may well be an oversight but they still need to make a statement about it and fast. If they don't, Reddit and co will do that for them and it won't be pretty. I can already see the titles on some Youtube channels specializing in gaming controversies from here.

Let's hope they fix that because, in its current state, the game should not even be in the store. GOG selling games with DRM? Well, I would say I'm disappointed but that's news in line with the rest of that awful year.

It isn't even the first time. I keep bringing the corpse of SecuROM in the first F.E.A.R. game up as a good example (complete with GOG going on record about that game and its DRM), but others have talked about other titles as well.

It's ugly either way.
hope GOG doesn't fix it so we all die >:-D

I second that.
Hey let's have a square enix sale without a single square or enix game
