No.

Joe was close at one time. If he actually looked for real games.

JoeSapphire: With the warlord thing?
Well, not with warlords.

But just so we're 100% clear, here is another one.

JoeSapphire: ...
Keyword: specificity. Is that a word? Let alone a keyword.

Yes, that's a London cricket field, but... keyword?
Yes, those are hydrocarbons, but... keyword?
Yes, that's a limit and a sum, but... keyword?

Chain Lords is not a game! :(

I have a question: do you not think if the word was "chains" I'd have found an easier way to draw it?

You don't have a mathematician or chemistrytitian at hand?

you'd think somebody would!

Ghorpm: King's Bounty

Your drawing skills are just fine, I didn't even need any more hints after the first picture
Come here! You're the only one who understands my stick figure drawings and dubious logic.

I just checked. You don't even need access to a mathematician or chemis.. whatever. All you need is access to www.google.com.
Alkene Lords!

I had a dream that this was solved. It all made so much sense.

Now you're just being obtuse on purpose :(

I've been being obtuse on purpose as long as you've known me

I looked up C4H10O it's Butanol.
I looked up limits and sums. I didn't find anything so defined. Maybe series or formula.

I can't make any of it work

How about the exact forumula? Instead of isomers.

...

I put that exact limit in google. I get it. For the sum you have to spell out what the exclamation mark is (because it looks like an exclamation mark doesn't get searched in google).

I mean, look up butanol. You can see it's not the chain I drew.

okay so I tried H3CH2COCH2CH3 and I think it's diethyl ether.

And there it is! Etherlords.
NO WAIT IS IT ETHERLORDS 2?

Yes.

R1-O-R2 is the generic formula for ethers. The specific diethyl ether is commonly called "ether" too (much like the specific sodium chloride salt is called "salt").

The limit is the definition of e (Euler's number ≈ 2.71828). Googling "lim(n + 1/n)^n" gets me there immediately.
The sum also evaluates to e (Maclaurin's expansion). Googling "sum (1/n factorial)" gives me the answer too.

e-thor. ether. Get it?
avatar
ZFR: e-thor. ether. Get it?
I did get it! I was intimidated by the complexity of the formula, but now you put it like that I see it's simpler than I was perceiving...

What were the original drawings? Is it a game about lineage and heirs?

Shall we continue this trend of complex and deliberately obtuse lateral images to attempt to describe games no-one's played? Let's!

No. There are no heirs.

R' - O - R'' is a hydrocarbon chain. An ether
where R' and R'' is an alkyl or an aryl.
In the specific case of a diethyl ether, both R and R'' is an ethyl CH3 - CH2 -

It has a crown because it's a Lord.

The second one is the only one that describes the game, rather than its name. There are 4 etherlords (black, blue, red and green) and they fight to become the ultimate mother-of-all-etherlords etherlord.

Hi. I'm Joe. The game is Hammerduckonimo.
