disi: It did sync something, the archivements for DA2 are there now: http://i.imgur.com/EedfPZ8.png
Maybe they fix it somehow

But still everything is wrong :P
No romance in both parts, Connor died in Origin, stupid Isolde alive. Never kissed Tallis in Master of the Assassins. All plot decisions seem not synced.
I've heard something about it detecting your decisions based on achievements. So if you've followed both paths in different playthroughs it just gets confused. <not sure about any of this. :P
Meh, there is too much.
Like: Loghain executed by Warden is currently set, but I chose Allister to do it. Like 90% of all the Tapestry is not how I did it.

I had 8 heroes for Origins to choose from. In the meantime I removed all the dwarves and elven attempts, which I know were just tests. This leaves three human warriors with the same name and all three of them have wrong plots.
In Dragon Age 2 I went straight for human warrior again and there is only one hero to choose. Still everything not synced :(

Achievements missing. Like Epic, which I know triggered yesterday as I finished Dragon Age 2.

One quick question. It states on the wiki, I cannot import a saved game but have to go through the keep?

Players will not be able to directly import save files from previous games into the Keep, regardless of the platform the games were played on.

It is unclear to me, if I can import the old save game just offline without the keep. As I did for the first two games?

You can only import a world state to DA:I from the DA Keep.

Dammit, so I have to go through every single decision on the keep to fix my world state :(

//edit: following those bug fixing things shows, I have not a single character for Origins uploaded to my profile:
http://forum.bioware.com/topic/516937-how-to-get-your-wardens-into-the-keep-read-only-after-the-official-faq-fails/
I do have two Origins profiles (one crappy Steam one and one I created recently with the Origin copy)

It does show my hero for Dragon Age 2 properly in my profile, but some stuff I did yesterday is missing. this might update over time...

Conclusion: If your profile is fucked, then the whole Dragon Age play through (all three titles) is/was for nothing and you have to create a custom one online. You have to check any micro decision of the previous games anyway, because the keep seems buggy as hell.

Arh I kinda feel sorry for Delixe back in OP, getting all excited about DA:2 about to drop - I hope he was one of the few who liked it and not one of the many who didn't! Also 5 years ago? The first one still seems like a new game to me!

Perhaps because, unlike older pc games from 90s, it didn't age at all. Heck, I still think Half-Life 2 is recent-ish, despite being ten years old.

Yeah, I guess that it was just the past console generation era and we haven't seen much evidence that the new console generation is actually going to be appreciably better looking, to a great degree
Maybe its just getting like the difference between 'incredibly life-life' and 'new and improved, super-duper, ultra incredibly life-like' is getting harder and harder for our eyes and brains to discern, or maybe we're even hitting graphic artist talent threshold?

I think it is important information to let people know, whatever they do in part1 and part2 of the game has no influence whatsoever if there isn't a proper working online profile with the information on the https://dragonagekeep.com/ website.
Importing Saves
Unfortunately the Keep won’t be able to directly import saves. However, over 300 choices are accounted for in the Keep, so you’ll be able to recreate your Dragon Age universe down to the details. The intention is for the Keep to recognize your decisions regardless of whether you played Dragon Age games or DLCs on different platforms. You do not need to have played DLCs to set any choices on Keep related to them.
So keep your profile in a good shape at social Bioware for any future titles to be released.

I am now starting to go through my story and check every decision... there are supposedly more than 300 for Origins only.
