This fan game uses the Game Maker 1.4 engine. It took years of work and testing, all created with great care and love; environments, enemies, playable characters, special effects and much more were created from scratch, and the source material only served as inspiration. Speaking of story, it is also original and very good!

Does it have the option to not use scanlines?

I'm 99% sure I've heard that same music before, possibly in other Double Dragon games, so it certainly wasn't created from scratch, was it?

In other words, the original songs were rearranged and many other songs were created from scratch. Enter the author's channel and see for yourself. :)

I know some retro enthusiasts (the kind that buys all evercade collections) who will love this.

This looks like exactly my type of game. Especially with the rather lengthy times between releases in the actual Double Dragon franchise during the last few decades, this sounds like an amazing option to stay busy.

Game looks like a lot of fun, might could use a nsfw tag though, at least for that portrait in Level 2.

That's good my friend! I hope you guys have fun. =D I agree 100% with you! Also look for the fan game Double Dragon Reloaded - Alternate. =) Thanks for the alert! I hadn't really noticed. The beating in the game was so much that I didn't even see it.
The fact is that I can't change the title of the topic, so in the body of the message I put the warning. You do not have to thank me! I make disclosures like this out of pure admiration for these developers who do a better job than the company that owns the copyright, who often forget their products and when they remember, most of the time they release garbage. Double Dragon IV is a great example!

If your problem is "Out of Memory", there is a file that comes with the game that fixes this. And there is also a troubleshooting file included. Anything, send a comment to the developer on the video.

I cannot even unpackage the archived files with WinRar (error about archive being corrupted). I downloaded 7zip where i could, but the installation did not work. I am not technologically adept at all so if the first steps already cause such trouble i'll probably give up, unfortunately.

You should redownload it then. For me the file worked without problems (using WinRAR6).

That was my first idea too. I downloaded it a total of 4 times successfully, and i always encountered the same issue. My WinRAR version might be old, but extracting was only the first step. After using 7zip to extract the files, the installation did not work either.
