Must be an Aussie thing, how much of a price difference is it? For me the price in Euro is the same on both stores, even better the GOG one is cheaper since I have the first 2 games already. Without the discounts they are both 60e though.
high rated
I'm not a fan boy and I can certainly understand people's disappointment (especially in Australia where you good people do seem to be getting screwed), but that's not why I'm posting this.

I'm just genuinely curious about something: if you hate GOG and don't want to buy here, that is fine, but then WHY THE HELL ARE YOU HERE!?!?!

Seriously WHY!? Everyone one has likes and dislikes and that is a beautiful thing, it makes us different and unique and special, but it seems pretty inane to spend all your time in and around something you don't like.

I love horror films and I hate romantic comedies, so when I go to the movies I go to see the horror film; I don't plunk down my money to see the new Nicholas Sparks movie and then spend the rest of the day hanging out in the lobby telling everyone how much I hate fucking Nicholas Sparks movies! XD

When you go to a restaurant and see something on the menu you love you don't immediately orders something you hate! Or do you? Do you wake up every day striving to be miserable? If so, that's fucked up! XD

I could go on but I think I made my point. :P

It's ponderous man!

EDIT: didn't notice the OP was talking about the game plus the expansion pass. There is an AU$7 difference in price

-------

The Witcher 3 (without the expansion pass) is currently US$75.59 on Steam which translates to roughly AU$95 whereas it costs AU$71.99 here on GOG

leroyb1987: Hi.

Would just like to say Im disappointed with the pricing on GOG, im pretty disgusted I got the witcher 3 with expansion cheaper on steam then from GOG / developer...

Cheers.
Your fault for not buying a Nvidia GOG code off of someone. It's even cheaper than both. :P

It's kind of a pot-kettle-black scenario. But you didn't see the benefits of GOG as a store prior to your fighting so it's silly to say that he was the reason you decided to stay away. Just buy wherever's the cheapest/best value. That promotes healthy competition between all of them instead of letting them rely on their zealots no matter what crap they pull.

It's a modern epidemic, the internet has given the terminally stupid a voice, and with the ability to hide behind a monitor has led to a world where they have become addicted to bitching. They are pathologically driven to seek out things that annoy them just to complain.

Well there is a lot to complain about here, this new system has some serious bugs, but I still shop here and I still the love the forum. What gets me are the people in here who say "I never buy from GOG and never will" or "this forum is horrible". XD Kind of eliminates any reason for being here doesn't it?

Apparently we are due to get a tax on netflix (and stupid streaming services) and digital store purchases soon (as to how that will be enforced will be interesting when a company doesnt have a australian office) ......along with increases in prices for internet due to the douchebags at MPAA and the like winning the fight making ISP's be internet cops.....

Why do you guys fight in so many threads? Most of the first few posts do nothing but pick a fight with the OP...

So.. you aren't going to use a good store because you didn't like some of its clients? A genius XD
Luckly for you, Steam has the best community and customer service ever... NOT.

That goes back to my original post, this type of user HAS to bitch about something, it doesn't have to be relevant or even logical, it's instinctual. :p

As for the new system, it's strange but other than hating the page-by-page library, I don't find anything significantly bothersome about the new site, heck I actually like the look of the new shelf (mostly). However if GOG doesn't hurry up and restore my international copy of The Witcher 2 and leaves me perpetually stuck with the AU version, I will flip tables.
Didnt think my thread would get so much hate. I suppose you GOG fanboys have proven that the steam community is value for money. Literally...

Also I dont mean to sound like a troll, Im pretty neutral between steam and GOG but man theres some nasty people here.
this whole thread is really depressing

orangutangiukas: I asked this in other thread, but only GOG fanboys have answered.
So CDPR are making the withcer 3 with DRM? Because steam is not forcing any DRM, if developers want they can make so that you could run a game without steam. So you failed at trolling.
After coming here ans seeing how arrogant GOG fanboys are i'm not going to buy anything ever from GOG.
Are you serious? Do you have any idea how the crap that comes out of your mouth sounds to others? The first words out of you were a complete dismissal of GOG as a service, how did you expect GOG users to respond? Why the fuck would we want to help you after that glorious introduction?

And then you come into this thread with Steam's cock in your mouth and have the front to call us arrogant fanboys?

I rarely respond to such ignorant behaviour, but you need to go take a long look in the mirror and rethink your life.

Would just like to say Im disappointed with you all. Yes, even you at the back, don't try to hide.
Welcome, leroyb1987.
