Time to rock. Devil May Cry titles are here!

We’re thrilled to welcome Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition and Devil May Cry HD Collection to both the GOG catalog and the GOG Preservation Program, fully DRM-free and ready to be played in their best form forever.

Bundle containing both titles HERE.

The timing of this double arrival is perfect, as Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition is celebrating its 10th anniversary!

It’s a joy and an honor to bring this legendary series from Capcom to GOG. Whether you are returning to the action or discovering it for the first time, we hope you create unforgettable memories with these masterpieces.

But Dante isn’t arriving alone. Today, more legends join the GOG Preservation Program:

Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded
Voyage: Journey to the Moon
Star Wars™ Rebellion
Tex Murphy: The Pandora Directive
Populous™
Mortal Kombat 1+2+3
Star Trek™: Judgment Rites
Magic Carpet™ 2: The Netherworlds
Castles + Castles 2
Earthworm Jim 2
Imperium Galactica

Each of these titles is fully optimized for modern systems, DRM-free, and preserved to remain accessible for generations to come.

Thank you for being part of this journey. With your support, amazing partners like Capcom, and our shared love for games, we are showing that classics do not have to be lost to time.

Let’s keep making games live forever. See you soon!
Not my type of games , not interested .

But glad to see that Gog made some people happy .
Thanks CAPCOM for not abandoning GOG like so many other AAA publishers.
Any idea if there's Japanese language versions, as JRPGs/Japanese games have the absolute worst English voice acting in existence…

I'll still buy it, but it would be so much better if there were VO mods...
Great releases - Glad to see the games show up here. Hoping for some more games from Capcom in the future as well. Definitely great games to pick up for anyone who doesnt own them yet
Another game from Japanese developer Capcom has been added to the GOG catalogue. That's great.

But... But... But... Capcom has not yet officially updated one of its RPGs (Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen) on GOG. And that would be greatly appreciated because it shows respect for the company's consumers and fans.

On the other hand, what happened to the SSFIV editions on GOG?
The Arcade Edition is a game from 2011 and the Ultra Edition is from 2014, so they would be very good candidates to be part of this catalogue here on GOG.

So, as a fan of Capcom since its golden age on the NES, I expect more.

Thank you to the entire GOG team for their work and effort in keeping a piece of video game history alive and intact for us and for new generations of gamers.

N1c3_0n3: That is some good news!
A little note for new customers: All DLCs for DMC4 are technically microtransactions, as all of these bonuses are unlockable inside the game. Except for 'Lady & Trish Costumes' dlc, that is the only one worth of a buy as you can't unlock them any other way unfortunately.
Please note that none of the DMC4 DLCs are included in the 3+4 bundle, so if you want to play the 4 you should buy the 4th game OR 3+4 bundle then 'Lady & Trish costume' dlc separately.
Wait seriously the mode unlock is also in game unlockable as well as the infinite devil trigger thing? I don't mind per say early mode unlocks solid but it sucks they don't disclose this .. Everything else is fairly obvious microtransaction stuff so those don't need disclosed but ya if the mode unlocks and infinite devil trigger stuff is just what amounts to early unlocks that sucks as at the time of me making this message they don't disclose that

Still waiting for Capcom to update Dragon's Dogma on GOG before I can even consider to buy any other game by them.
Gonna be a bit before I rebuy it on GOG but I appreciate that you've added DMC to your preservation program
Very nice and very unexpected :)
Thank you, GOG&Capcom, instabuy :)

Only DMC4 (Special edition) and DMC5 have japanese voices, but the western release of the first doesn't include them, so you'll have to mod it

And that's par for the course with capcom, until recent they were really pushing that "american-appeal" with their titles
The original PC ports of 3 (Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening / Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening - Special Edition) and 4 (Devil May Cry 4) coming too or are the differences that marginal that it's not worth the effort?

DMC3's original PC version is so bad that I can't blame them for avoiding it at all. It's similar to the original RE4 PC port (before the Ultimate HD Edition) with a ton of port exclusive issues such as missing effects, new bugs, and numerical button prompts. DMC HD Collection has its own unique issues, but runs out of the box and includes DMC1/2, so I get why they decided to just stick with HD Collection.

DMC4's original port I think would be worth having on GOG though. It doesn't have the content 4SE introduced like new playable characters, but weirdly runs way better and gives (very) low end rigs the opportunity to play it since it supports DX9/10.
REALLY good regional pricing on these, thank you.

Now where's DmC? We need El Donte. :)

Yeah, capcom should've been transparent on which dlcs are unlockable and which aren't.
Btw steam releases also have exactly the same issue. They copied releases 1:1 from there. Everything I said I learned back then from their forums. I haven't played the game yet though, so always doublecheck.
