Have you tried playing the Telepath RPG yourself? Is it good? Do you have the option to try reading everybody's mind like in Golden Sun once you get the Mind Read skill? It was really fun seeing what they think and comparing it with what they actually say and see how it impacts the game or adds to the lore and depth of the world and plot, characters and dialogue! :)
Is there a lot of combat though, like in some JRPGs, or is it manageable, so you don't spend hours slogging through areas with enemies and backtracking to get that one chest you saw or get to another area? I just don't really have the time to play through games which have a really high number of random enemy battles so you can't even evade them if you want to (and if you do then you usually get screwed over during boss battles since you need the levels even if you party setup is great).

I played this a long time ago and only for about five hours. I had planed to return to it but time passed and I never did. So for what is worth, from what remember, there are no random battles at all. There are only fixed battles that you need to finish to progress the story. There are main quests and side-quests.

I don't remember anything similar to the mind reading part from Golden Sun that you mentioned. As far as the combat goes, I'm a fanatic of turn-based strategy/tactics games, so I enjoyed the the combat very much, and I found the difficulty just right, not too difficult nor easy. I would say that there's equal parts combat and cRPG dialogue. I had fun with it and the more I think about it, the more determined I become to restarting it and finishing it.

I have a few games left:
- Alcarys Complex
- BIK
- Boxeswithguns
- Cognition Episode 2: The Wise Monkey

PM me if interested!

Disclaimer: It turns out that at least one of these game keys was expired, even though there was no expiry date and other Desura keys from the same bundle still work. I therefore make no claims about the current validity of these keys (but you're still welcome to try 'em :)

P.S. These will only go to people with active forum participation other than in GA threads and at least some positive rep.
I haven't bumped my list yet. Please take these off my hands! Anyone is eligible! Bots included! :)

-BoxesWithGuns
-Gun Rocket
-Terra Incognita: The Descendant [SENT]
-Yury

Thanks for your summary! How does telepathy come into the game then, if there's nothing like the mind reading mechanic from Golden Sun in it?

I still have
Inside The Gear
available, if anyone wants it just PM me.

Also some games are not entirely DRM free and require a CD/activation key. I have ran into a couple of these. Normally you have to download the game with the client then right click on it in the client to get the keys but I found a way to do it without having to install the game. It still does require the Desura client though:

1. Install Desura client
2. Start Desura Client and log in
2. click the Desura "eye" icon top left of the window next to your profile picture
4. click "tools" then "list games and CD keys"
5. Hover over the game you want keys for and click "your keys" on the game you want to get keys for. It will take a minute or two but should give both the activation/CD key and the normal Desura key. The activation/cd key is what you need after you install and run the game either though the client or direct download.

Seems to work for me anyway, and it doesn't require downloading and installing the game via the client. It is also a quick way to check and see if a game has a CD/activation key rather than installing it to find out.

I can confirm that it works without installing the game, thus making the process much faster. Thank you for posting this!
