Does someone know what is so special about Dwarven Forge's Caverns? It's some tileset for a cavern, for tabletop RPGs, I guess. But it does not seem that special or very cheap to me, so I'm a bit surprised to see its huge success. According to the first update, the funding goal of $100k was reached in 9 minutes, and they got $700k in one day...

ErekoseDM: Axe Princess

"Axe Princess is an fantasy, action, beat'em-up game. It uses 2d animated sprite graphics and aims to be violent, cool and sexy!"

- DRM-free
- Axe Princess is inspired by beatem up games from the 90's including Final Fight, TMNT, Xmen, Simpsons, Dungeons and Dragons and many more.
Amusing. But overall the presentation seems rather lazy.

It's because it's by Dwarven Forge, and the tiles are apparently made of some high-quality material (which they claim is similar to resin). Honestly, I'd much rather pay several hundred for a lot of Hirst's molds and make my own tiles. Sure you can say it's time consuming, but so is assembling and painting minis, doing up terrain, etc.

The composer for Wing Commander 3, 4, and Prophecy would like to record his scores with a live orchestra.

Just a few days left but he's almost there.

I missed Kingdom Come (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1294225970/kingdom-come-deliverance) and I really would have liked to support it since I feel that eastern european RPGs are a class of their own: more serious, less fantasy. I will search on their website, if there is the possibility to make a late backing.

Hmm, I saw 'Darklands' and 'II' in the same entry and thought "YESSS, finally the classic CRPG is getting a sequel" -- and only then noticed it's listed as a board game. Bah, humbug.

annoying isnt it? LOL
I didn't react the same way you both did because I already saw the first two Darklands skirmish games on Kickstarter some time ago, so I knew this had to be the latest addition to that line XD

Edit: Including nijuu, that will be three of you ;)
