Good luck with that. They have yet to release a DRM-free version of PA and yeah the SP mode's kinda lacking. Definitely not gonna back this. Luckily I only backed $20 for PA.

Dark Drive

This is a pretty slick-looking "Metroidvania" with a dash of shoot-em-up thrown in for flavor. The team's grasp on the English language could use a little work, but I think it adds to the charm. Their campaign just went live, so give it a look if you have a minute.

It's not only that they haven't released a DRM-Free version, but that they haven't even bothered creating an offline mode.

Good point. I figure if they go to series then it would be available across markets like any other production. But it's wise to find out what kind of multilingual support they plan from the start. Hopefully they'll have a positive answer for you.

By the way, I just messaged them to ask if the DVD rewards will be properly region-encoded for each recipient. Since their obvious target is the UK standard of Region 2/PAL, I didn't want to assume I'd get a Region 1/NTSC version.
