It’s this time of the year – Warhammer Skulls 2025 is here! For the Emperor!

This time around, we bring a variety of awesome news. So sit back, relax, and see what we prepared!

Apart from all the discounts you can expect on the Warhammer catalog, we decided to do something close to our hearts. The GOG Preservation Program expands once more!
Five Warhammer classics we’ve co-published, and that you won’t find anywhere else, are now preserved in their best form:
Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate
Final Liberation: Warhammer Epic 40,000
Warhammer 40,000: Rites of War
Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat
Warhammer 40,000: Fire Warrior
These games defined an era – it was about time they received the full GOG Preservation Program treatment! But that’s not all.
With the Warhammer Skulls 2025 event live on GOG, Warhammer 40,000: Rites of War is now on a GIVEAWAY: fully updated, LAN-ready, complete with manuals, and yours to keep forever!
Warhammer is a universe so vast it spills across genres and generations – from grimdark sci-fi to high fantasy, from tabletop to tactics, from single-player campaigns to skirmish-scale gems.
It has shaped player identities, inspired modders, spawned books, art, animation, and unparalleled lore. It’s not just a franchise. It’s a world that gives meaning. And it deserves to be preserved.
Oh, and if you're still reading and haven’t rushed off to fight for the Emperor yet… Sanctus Reach and Armageddon also recently became GOG exclusives. We highly recommend adding them to your library and keeping them safe!

To top it off, we have some great gems soon to join the GOG catalog:
Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader - Lex Imperialis
Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Definitive Edition
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine Master Crafted Edition

Enjoy Warhammer Skulls 2025!

Isn't the Gog version of Armageddon incompatible with the Community Update ?

Both DLCs are most certainly coming here. Gladius might be a bit delayed because of some issue or another (most likely Skulls being busy and keeping things under wraps).

No idea. I bought Armageddon with all DLC on Steam long ago, but didn't play much yet :)

Waiting for Battlesector DLC as well, but all of them appeared here so far, so no reason why this one shouldn't.

Oriza-Triznyák: Isn't Fire Warrior a janky game ? So why does it worth to add it to the preservation program ?
Because janky games need some love too. It's not the... best W40K game for sure.
Is Relic fixing IronLore's sscrewup in the SoulStorm campaign that meant buildings on campaign maps weren't persistent the way they were in Dark Crusade?

I might get laughed at, Fire Warrior was my introduction to Warhammer 40K as a kid. It’s janky but still worth playing if you want to experience 40K through the eyes of someone other than the Space Marines.

I personally love the game.

For the record, it's better than most games labeled as janky. It also features a good selection of 40k weapons to blast the Imperial and Chaos enemies.

Now on a 64-bit platform to support the ongoing efforts of the modding community, the Definitive Edition also includes an integrated Mod Manager and is compatible with over 20 years of lovingly crafted Community Mods.
Now this is how you do a remaster. Not like the Stalker re-release. If you are going to kill everything the community has done with your re-release, don't even bother.

I also really like what I'm seeing. No gameplay changes, just visual updates and QoL features.

Check your library. It was given away before, July 2020 according to my receipt.

I'm not into Warhammer, but I guess I claimed it. I also have 3 other Warhammer games in my library, Final Liberation, Chaos Gate, and Shadow of the Horned Rat. I tag free games so that I know they were giveaways, and Shadow of the Horned Rat is tagged, but Final Liberation and Chaos gate are not tagged, and do not show up when I search for them in my order history.
So glad to see Dark Heresy announced here already! that said, I expected some of the missing Warhammer games
