kbnrylaec: If I buy A and DLC of A, those DLC/OST/Extra will be listed under A.
I hope Broken Sword OST will work the same, just like other games with DLCs.
Nice. The auto-redeem process work as expected.
Owners will get an OST GOODIE under the game library.
I have not downloaded the new file yet, but I believe it is just the old soundtrack moved to a new directory.

Yep, that's all it should be.
For now, owners have two links to download the soundtrack.
.../file/broken_sword_4/(foo)
.../file/broken_sword_4_the_angel_of_death_secrets_of_the_ark_ost/(bar)
Seriously Broken Sword 4 is so incredibly bad that it's already insulting that it is actually sold instead of being freeware.

BS5 was nice again and there's even a line suggesting that "we better not talk about part 3 and 4" in a conversation with Duane.

Trying to charge people additional money for the soundtrack is a terrible move by the studio.

I wrote this to the support already and was directed here. I guess it does not hurt to say this again:
You should never ever make purchases for a user.

At the time of the "purchase" of the OST I was not even logged in.
I know it did not cost me anything and the way I pay you could not even bill me anything on your own but it still feels very very wrong when you read that you have made a purchase when you have not.

My reaction was roughly:
Was my account hacked? Unlikely, but what the hell is going on? Is there a news item about it? No. When was this purchase made? I was not even logged in then, I could not even have done it by accident. It is "free", so more likely GOG made that "purchase" for me for some reason.

Seriously, don't do that.

Ditto. Didn't see it on the news, but checked here before asking GOG directly about it. Luckily the post was on the top of the list when I did. I thought receiving something for free was a glitch more than a hack though, but the email's title did turn on my "uh oh" alarm.
I seen the first game's OST added to my account without me having done anything and I was worried :D a little research on Google and I've found this topic.

Good to know we don't lose anything.

But yeah, a warning email would have been better and less alarming.

P1na: I know you won't care,
*Checks the original text* "Unfortunately, as per the developer’s request... We’re really sorry for the inconvenience! "

Yes. I see how much not caring was shown by GOG here. -_-

You do realize that the right owner can do pretty much whatever they want with the product they own sold on a platform like GOG, without any heads up until the "I want this removed yesterday", right?

fables22: If, by any chance, you've bought the game with the OSTs included and DON'T get your OST in the next couple days, please let me know so we can fix this!
I only see a DLC with Broken Sword 4, and have all the games.
Just got the email about Broken Sword DC OST.
I also got the DLC e-mails for BS4 and BS DC and looking it up in my library it is not a big deal. The Soundtrack is now simply shown in a different place on the library content card (or however you would name the page in which everything is listed a product contains).

Off-topic note:
I haven't seen you around in ages. I tried to get a hold of you a while ago, but the chat function for you is borked.
How ya been?
Hmm, I got an order confirmation today for the 'free' BS4 soundtrack, but no sign of the first one.

Wait a moment. The post you are quoting was assuming that GOG would remove content which was ALREADY BOUGHT by us, The assumption that this is the case was wrong here but it happened in the past and that would really be GOG's problem because nobody could force them to delete content which was already paid for (meaning the devs/composers/publishers also got their money).

I do. Which is why I said why that they wouldn't care. And no, polite speech is not caring. Not for me anyway.

Not to mention I already apologized for the post, but whatever.
