Share your idea for a new Pathfinder class or race in the comments and get a chance to win one of 20 keys for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous!

The contest ends on September 13th, 6 PM UTC.
Race: Something vegetable... myconid, vegepygmy or another awakened plantlife.
It could offer some sort of sporecasting (non-spell effects similar to sleep, hold person, poison, snare, etc) , allow for support (supplimenting rations, enhanced guard abilities) and offer a potentially different set of restistances and weaknesses.

Class: Loremaster
Loremasters are the sages of the Pathfinder world. They focus on knowledge acquisition.pimarily as a way of acquiring abilities and secrets they would not normally have access to.
Primary Attributes: WIS & INT
Proficiencies: simple weapons, light armor, shield (except tower shields)
Skill ranks per level: 4 1/2 Intelligence modifier
Extra languages, access to 2-5 cantrips or minor utility spells
Class Skills: Knowledge (Arcana), Knowledge (World), Lore (Nature), Lore (Religion), Use Magic Device
Primary abilty is Adaptive Mastery which allows them to ignore class, race or alignment restrictions for magic items or feats. They may chose a feat at 1st, 5th, 9th, 13th, 17th and 20th level. At even levels they gain proficiency with a specific weapon or armor type from the martial or medium armors list. Once they have reached 8th level, a loremaster can also choose form the exotic weapons list. At 12th level, they may add heavy armors to their choice of proficiencies.

Class:
Several ideas:
Dark Lord/Guardian:
Draws on the dark and forbidden magics of the world, this dark avenger uses the dark magics of the world, drawn from horrible nightmarish realms to keep the human and other worlds safe.
This magic is extremely corruptive, and can only be used by those races and beings with a high willpower and a unwavering and overwhelming commitment to good.
Can be either a magic class, or a mix of a warrior/mage class.

Plague Doctor/Plaguebringer
These shadowy guardians were once doctors and healers, who were disilluisioned with the way that the medical and healing arts are practiced. They felt that all of the possible secrets and techniques that existed in the worlds were not closely or deeply studied, and as such, somebody must study them and bring them back to the peaceful races to study them. These former doctors and healers, in their search for knowledge, delved into the darkest places, sought out the darkest secrets, and spoke and communicated with the darkest of spirits to perfect and study their new dark arts.
Now they return, to the races of Golarion, to share their dark magics with the world.
These dark mages can bring swarms of plagues, locusts, dark spirits, and diseases to bear. Their powerful magic, both shadow and plague, can bear down on a unsuspecting foe, and poison their very body and soul, and leech the life out of all those dare stand in the way of the Plague Doctors/Plaguebringers.
All those evil that cower in the shadows beware, for the Plague Doctor will bring his plagues to smite all those who are truly wicked, while the innocent will be healed but twisted by their dark magics.

Avatar of the Gods
This incredibly powerful battlemage has been blessed by the gods of Golarian themselves, and as such, he has been granted a power that once was able to topple entire kingdoms and rip asunder entire armies: The Avatar.
The battlemage will swear fealty to a certain god, and in exchange, that god allows for them to create a avatar that will take on the form of that god, and to use abilities and powerful magic that fall into the area worshipped by that god.
Beware, these ancient battlemages have long since slumbered, but now they are awake and ready to enact their fury and will upon the world.

Race and Class:
You were a human once, but you preformed great deeds of heroism, ones that inspired those around to do amazing things. You were uplifted and adopted by the angels, and made into a Nephilim, the offspring of a angel and a human. Now you fight and serve for the gods of light, good, law, and justice against the vile demonic and evil hordes that threaten the world. You must bring the holy light to wherever you go, for if you do not, the world itself will fall into evil and darkness.

Class: Zhìzhě
You are a Zhizhe, a Sage. You were trained by the wise Master Sage, he who is in tune with the world. A Sage learns to attune to the energy of the world, to nature, to life, to everything that is, to the wind, the water, the earth, the entire planet of Golarion is your powersource. You gain immense physical and magical power, and it is your duty to go out there and to stop the evil that would threaten the balance of the world. A sage has enough power to rip the world asunder, so beware of the Sage who walks the path of darkness, for he too, must be stopped.
My race/class idea is simple... third party product support.

Yeah, I know, not a proper suggestion, but support for third-party products' races and classes would be my suggestion. I've got a bias for one particular third-party setting, from having kickstarted a few of its books, but seeing a hippogryph, or a winged big-cat, mauling their way across the battlefield by claw, bite, or actual weapons, would be nice. Imagine the faces of a group of adventurers, when the gryphon flying overhead, drops an alchemist's bomb, or a fireball, on an unsuspecting group of goblins. Or, the ultimate eyebrow-raising thought, watching that armored unicorn dance their way across the field with a pair of blades held aloft in a telekinetic grip, the weapons darting out to catch foes unaware as the equine wades into the melee.

(Yes, that's all one third party setting's books, and the kinds of shenanigans one can hope to pull with third-party pathfinder 1e support)
Preying Mantis
Could fit a number of classes, I just really love preying Mantids
Ok here is a “race”
An iron golem, before you leave hear me out, cannot wear armor but the base ac is 21. Cannot be a caster class, prof in 2handed weapons, heavy 1 handed and heavy shields. Racial bonus of + 3 to strength -2 to dex half dmg from blunt and piercing, 1.5x dmg from electric and frost. Same dex and sneak penalties as full plate

For a new class
A herder, kind of like a ranger has one companion of med or large, this class would have a herd of 4-6 small/tiny creatures. Proficient in buffing spells and crowd control. Light weapons and short bows, light armor. Must have charisma of 17+ and animal handling
New Race!

Ice-person! =)

He/She sings and dances, so very bard-like and acrobatic
Can cause extra effect while indoors and super effect when in a cavernous area

Weak in the desert and humid areas.

When they level, they can get larger or shrink.

They cast any ice spells at a PLUS and are weak to fire (of course)

Can't wear any metal armor.

Only eat water. =)
Hi :)
A race of insect man that eats anything he can find.

A class of summoner who has to use items to create circles that open dimensions to creatures that cannot leave his circle. Healing and buffing
I feel that a class of Steampunk fighters would be awesome!!
Steampunk weapons and clothing, what a challange that would be for any developer in this field!!
Steampunk Dragon mount!!
I would like to see the Half-Dragon race put in the Pathfinder computer games. You could pull most of the stats right from the Pathfinder manuals. Although for simplicity I would probably implement them as half-dragon human, but you could implement them as a Race and then have subraces of half-dragon/human, half-dragon/elf, half-dragon/Orc, etc. You would also have to deal with the CR so they would have to have xp penalty, so sticking with the core races to match with half-dragon, would probably be the best idea. You could set them so getting to 2nd level would cost 9K points instead of 2K and let them progress from there. I would also restrict them from taking the Dragon Discipline class, since that doesn't really make any sense. It would probably be a good idea to limit their bloodline in any of the other bloodline classes to the dragonblood line with the exception of the Crossblooded rager. But even there, their first bloodline would have to be Dragon.

Creating a Half-Dragon/Human
“Half-dragon” is an inherited or acquired template that can be added to any living, corporeal creature (referred to hereafter as the base creature). A half-dragon retains all the base creature’s statistics and special abilities except as noted here.

Type: Creature type changes to dragon. Do not recalculate hit dice, base attack bonus, or saving throws.

Armor Class: Natural armor bonus improves by +4.

Special Qualities and Defenses: A half-dragon gains darkvision 60 feet; low-light vision; and immunity to sleep, paralysis, and energy of the same type as its breath weapon.

Speed: A half-dragon has wings. Unless the base creature has a better fly speed, the half-dragon can fly at twice the creature’s base land speed (average maneuverability).

Melee: A half-dragon has two claw attacks and a bite attack. If the base creature can use manufactured weapons, the half-dragon can as well. A new claw or bite attack deals damage as appropriate for the half-dragon’s size (see “Natural Attacks”).

Special Abilities: A half-dragon retains all the special attacks of the base creature and gains a breath weapon usable once per day based on the dragon variety (see below). The breath weapon deals 1d6 hit points of damage per racial HD possessed by the half-dragon (Reflex half; DC 10 + 1/2 creature’s racial HD + creature’s Con modifier).

Dragon Variety Breath Weapon
Black or copper dragon 60-foot line of acid
Brass dragon 60-foot line of fire
Blue or bronze dragon 60-foot line of electricity
Gold or red dragon 30-foot cone of fire
Green dragon 30-foot cone of acid
Silver or white dragon 30-foot cone of cold
Abilities: Increase from the base creature as follows: Str +8, Con +6, Int +2, Cha +2.

Skills: A half-dragon with racial Hit Dice has skill points per racial Hit Die equal to 6 + its Intelligence modifier
Bonus Feat: Humans select one extra feat at 1st level.
Skilled: Humans gain an additional skill rank at first level and one additional rank whenever they gain a level.
Race idea: This race would be semi amorphous and out of phase. Essentially, it is an astral entity that has learned to stake shape on the Prime Material plane. It would get only a -2 Constitution penalty and no stat bonuses, but a variety of racial feats and abilities that unlock as it grows in power. At level 1, they get a modified version of the Blink spell. This modified version doesn't carry a chance of materializing while moving through solid spaces, and can be used a number of times per day equal to their Int bonus.. At level 4, they get to cast the spell Ethereal Jaunt as a spell like ability. At level 8, they get to cast Etherealness as a spell like ability. At level 12, they are considered to be under the effect of Blur starting at the beginning of the round until they are hit. At level 16, this upgrades to Displacement. At level 20, the character becomes immune to all spells which attempt to force the character to change its dimensional reality (Maze, Banishment, etc.)
Toon: An odd race of people who don't exactly look real. They look more like some kind of drawing, doodle, sketch, or painting that's come to life. They can take the shape of any of the sapient races, albeit with exaggerated features, anthropomorphic animals, or even objects come to life. Some of their special abilities include:

Cartoon Hardiness: Toons are known for taking a lot of punishment and being excessively hard to kill. Once per day, when struck by an attack that reduces their health to 0 or less, the Toon may roll a Constitution saving throw. If they pass it, they will automatically revive with 1D6 health.

Ignorance is Bliss: Toons have the ability to break the laws of physics (and metaphysics) through their inability to recognize when they are being broken. By failing a Perception check, a Toon can walk over a rigged trap and not set it off, a cliff and not fall, or suffer no negative effects while afflicted with an ailment (e.g. taking no fire damage while they are burning). At higher levels, Toons can even use items and equipment they normally wouldn't be able to due to class, racial, alignment, or statistic restrictions simply because they don't realize they are unable to use them. Beware: anytime Toons recognize they are doing something that's supposed to be impossible, they will immediately suffer the effects like everyone else (e.g. if they look down and realize that they are standing on empty air, they will immediately fall and take the necessary damage).

Hammerspace: A Toon gets an extra slot where they can equip another weapon. This weapon does not take up any inventory slots or encumbrance, does not affect the Toon's mobility, and is not noticed by anyone because it by all accounts does not exist. However, at any moment, if the Toon's hands are free, they may pull the weapon out and unleash a devastating blow that's often more powerful than an ordinary attack with that weapon would be.

I would enjoy playing a dragonkin who is a Dragon Disciple because I would love a character tapping into their draconic lineage.
A Channeler could be cool.

A wizard that could increase their spell effect by paying life.

You could get ridiculous magic missible dealing D8 damage, but you lose 4 life for each one.

Race: Human (yes, plain old boring human)

Class: Peasant

Because who would want to fight demons and gods and risk your life to save the world when you can just wake up every day and grow crops hoping that today is not the day when the bandits raid your village, burn your house, steal all your belongings and leave you and your family to inevitable death from starvation. Of course you can try to defend your village (your only proficiency is with a scythe) and hope for a couple of natural 20s, but you should probably just run. Oh and don't forget about the taxes, they will take pretty much all your income so.. enjoy. If you somehow survive long enough there's that sweet prestige class waiting for you at 15th level - The Village Elder. It grants you a stable and great respect from the rest of the village folks.
