clarry: You replaced the original exe and got that error?! That makes no sense.

paul7re: Yep. I clicked on the link, then hit Run, and that's what popped up. Go figure.
Uh no, don't click run. It's a patched exe. You must save it and replace the original MOHAA.exe with it.

Okay, bare with me on this. So, after I save the link, do I need to delete the original? As I told you, I'm not familiar with all the tech part. I'm a business man, not an IT tech. I just use programs and mess around with games. Just tell me the basic steps and I can do that. lol

Delete it, move it out, rename it to mypetdonkey.exe. Anything works, as long as you replace what was originally called MOHAA.exe with the patched version of MOHAA.exe.

Okay. You crack me up with the name "mypetdonkey". Let me try it. I'll reply later. Gotta go. Thanks again for your patience and help. Hope you have a great weekend. Nice chatting with you.

paul7re: Can I get another card that will allow the games to work?
I don't see why not. But unless you know your PSU can handle a lot of power, go for low powered video cards, which recently are fairly good from what i've seen/heard. For a game that old... i don't think it would take much.

Kinda funny.

Hmmm i'm guessing extensions are hidden, as they usually are by default. Usually appending .old to the filename denotes it's the original file, but if extensions are hidden that's a little harder as it just becomes MOHAA.old.exe, rather than MOHAA.exe.old
