While I fully agree with your message, I just feel frustrated that it doesn't make any difference. No ISIS sympathizer is reading it, or even if one was, wouldn't care one tiny bit about it.

"Listen, and understand! That ISIS is out there! It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead."

The world is imperfect... :(

Europeans are making a mess for being too tolerant and scared to say their opinions about immigrants. You live in Finland you should know. Everything is labelled as racists if you aren't swallowing everything what is happening in the world like a good boy.

Well the US is controlled by israel. Anyway, sooner or later Europeans will start getting pissed of about all of these racist attacks and something very big indeed is going to happen.

I hope you're all safe.
I haven't been in Brussels for a long time, I moved away from there over 15 years ago, and I don't know how the city have changed, but we're all brothers and sisters under GOG.
My sympathies.

You have no idea what you're talking about. Russian pilots left Syria because peace was established. Opposition and official government agreed that they should not fight each other. ISIS is theirs enemy. If they do not want Syria to be split (like in situation with Palestine/Israel neverending conflict), they should be allies against ISIS. Then there will be elections, with democratic process backed by Russia if it'll be needed (no junkheads funded by Saudi Arabia/Turkey will be allowed to threaten and kill people).
For now, headcutters were thrown back. If they'll be back, Russia will shoot them from the Air. Got it?

I think people just need to get over the labels (or being labeled), and try to discuss about the actual matters instead. So, you should try not to care about someone calling you racist, but you should care about their counterarguments, why they think you are wrong.

I don't quite agree with you though that people are scared to say their piece in Finland (about asylum seekers etc.), quite the opposite in fact. People seem quite strongly divided on the matter, though.

I personally am currently quite critical towards the current asylum seeking process, but at the same time I am very much against open racism, e.g. against people who have already migrated here.

The current big debate in Finland is that one municipal politician in Tampere who complained why muslim kids are taking part in a Finnish (Christian) Easter tradition, going door to door dressed as a witch, asking for candy (a bit like kids in US on Halloween). Like many, I was angered what an inconsiderate prick that politician is, blaming immigrant (muslim) kids for adopting Finnish traditions?

First of all, of course, while that tradition happens during Easter, it is not really Christian but a pagan tradition. I mean, come on, dressed as a witch asking for candy? Is that candy supposed to represent the Body of Christ or something?

And even if it was considered as a Christian tradition, isn't it only positive that immigrant kids adopt such traditions? I've visited buddhist temples and joined their traditions even though I am not even a buddhist. Or, if I am in a movie theater in Thailand, I stand up like the rest of the audience when that song of the beloved Thai king comes out just before the movie starts.

It is my way to show respect to the Thai culture, and never I saw anyone suggesting I should go away, quite on the contrary.

I really feel sorry for those kids, trying to integrate to a Finnish society better, and then getting that kind of negative feedback from some racist asshat? (there, I labeled her)

Europe has been quite successfully mindfucked out of its own future. But hey, globalization, right? We're all in this together, right? No more borders, right? We all have to look after our planet, right? Right?!

We get the government we deserve. Sadly, they are just a reflection of us.
I hope all of you GOGers from Belgium and your families are safe. My condolences to the victim's families.

amrit9037: When I say religion I mean Islam.
Actually, this could be applied to any religion that is mainstream in some part of the world. I know for a fact that there have been Christian terrorists, and it's not safe to assume there are terrorists for religion X.
