It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

You could remove the script manually. Open up Windows Explorer and go to %appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\
There should be at least one directory inside there. Look inside there and you'll find a subdirectory named gm_scripts

Inside that should be a directory named Barefoot_Essentials_for_GOG.com. You can delete that and the script will be uninstalled (you may or may not need to close Firefox before you can delete it). There's also a file named Barefoot_Essentials_for_GOG.com.db you might as well delete that too.

When you start up Firefox again Barefoot Essentials will be completely gone and you can try enable GreaseMonkey again.
Thanks for this! I like the sitewide update generally, but your script makes it even better. One feature however doesn't seem to work anymore after the site changes: the option to remove the # fragment at the end of topic list URLs. This bugs me a little, but I can live with it. Thought you should know so it can get working again.

Yeah, I got it uninstalled on that browser for now, but it works on Firefox 52 ESR on Linux without any problems so far. Any idea what might cause it to hang the browser between 2.18.1 and 2.18.2?
just for you to know I don't have any of those problems.
I'm using Firefox 53 and Opera 44 on a mac and your script works perfectly in both of them.
Also the "remove # fragment" option work.

I don't know, but I have some ideas for experiments to find out. You say you removed it successfully on your Windows 7 Firefox? Does that mean you can enable GreaseMonkey again without the browser hanging? And, to clarify, earlier your browser was hanging whenever you had GreaseMonkey enabled ever since BE updated, even if there was no GOG page open in the browser - right?

If GreaseMonkey works for you again then maybe try heading over here and installing BE again to see if the same thing happens as last time. If it does then at least you know how to remove it again. But if it works fine this time I have a suspicion about what might have gone wrong.
@Barefoot_Monkey: I really like the iprovement of the 2014 theme. So great that you even did manage to remove those arrows. Did you also increase the font size there?
Just wanted to say thanks again for all your work on this!

Everything is working fine for me with Pale Moon 27.2.1 (32 bit) and Windows 7 64-bit.

I did. I had originally aimed to have them the size they are now, but didn't realise I'd accidentally had the page zoomed in at the time, so the font size ended up smaller than I'd intended. I noticed only because you mentioned the fonts being too small, so thank you for that :)

Yep, it's working perfectly with this configuration for me too !
Thank you for your work !
Thanks a bunch for this update, back to the 2014 styled navigation bar I am! I would donate something if you'd let me, Barefoot_Monkey, just so you know...
Regarding the "remove #fragment" option, I tested it in Firefox 53 on both Windows 7 and Linux Mint 18.1, as well as Chromium 58 on Linux Mint 18.1. It works just fine except on Firefox 53 on Linux Mint. With this configuration only, I still get the # fragment as shown in the attached screenshot. Everything else works perfectly for me.

jadegiant's posts made me look closer, and I too am getting the fragment, even though I have the option to remove it enabled. That's on Firefox 52.0.2 (32bit, EME-free).

Very nice, I was thinking of looking into that but it looks like you beat me to it :)

Keep up the great work.

Awesome work, as always!

Are you planning on adding back the options to choose which notifications to show next to the account tab?
