GioVio123: Has someone lived the experience of playing FPS with friends for more than 4 years and never get gud? I am tired of playing COD:WAW with never progressing on somethings besides my fear tactics to get a chance to win,
I have not played FPS multiplayer since way, waaay back in the days of internet cafes, playing Battlefield 1942 and MOH Breathrough. I was always the guy with a lot of kills and an insane number of deaths :D Then again the way we were playing it would probably make any serious FPS multi player of today have a seisure. No tactics, no teamwork, just free for all mayhem and goofing around. Good times :D
Leroux: And
Blackguards. I want to play it and enjoy it, but the odds seem so unfairly stacked against the player, most of the times spells misfire despite good hit chances, and I don't understand whether it's a flaw of the game or my lack of knowledge about how the game actually works.
I enjoyed Blackguards a lot, but the luck factor was terribly frustrating at times. It's a thing that can work great in a tabletop RPG, but should not be kept as a significant factor in single player video game. Eventually I gave up and for the last two fights I lowered the difficulty. I felt kinda bad about it, but I tried the second-to-last fight like twenty times to get it right, and when I was finally close to winning... the game froze on me. After that I just didn't have the patience, and just wante to finish it :D Not to mention, the final fight is impossible on anything but easy, unless your character has ranged attack.
