I've only paid half attention to this thread so please excuse me if this has been covered.

Is this planned to be a regular thing? I've mentioned previously that EvE does this with their player council. A couple of the companies I work with also do this with our soccer moms.

Not trying to get a leg up or anything as I currently can't leave the US. Just curious.

Klumpen0815: Yes, but that's the exception since the average wage is way lower while the rents have been going up for so long now that it doesn't make up the difference anymore at all.
Depends on the city. When it comes to rents there's still a big difference between Chemnitz and Leipzig on the one hand and Munich and Hamburg on the other. And there are still a lot of small towns where you can get apartments for next to nothing.

No idea. Still up in the air last I heard.
We did find it a good idea, though we also said that they shouldn't be calling the same people over and over.

Thank you for the response and your time.

MarkoH01: I think I am too stupid to get this ... but wouldn't you expect it the other way around, meaning that we "rich" people would try to stay away from GOG so that we would not have to pay the high prices?
avatar
Klumpen0815: Erm, regional pricing hits the entirety of Germany with the same prices, so the poor regions (east / ex GDR) suffer the most.
I knew that I wasn't thinking right. Of course, now I understand. Thanks. :)

JMich: Didn't we continue the Q&A for a bit in the smaller room? Was I in a different Q&A at that point?
Obviously you were. We finished the normal Q&A in the big room and we moved to the smaller room and commenced with the Q&A part from THEIR side (GOG is asking community members or so).

JMich: iwi stayed at the big conference room and Destro was hidden in one of the corners from what I recall.
Yes, Destro was on my left in the small room, I remember asking him a question.

Bwahahahaahahahahahaaha. I think my neighbours just heard me crack up on that... LOL
Did the six get cake or was it a lie? GOG promised cake in a video ad many years ago.

Last time I've heard of that, a massive betrayal was planned outside the game.. XD

That's every other month and the folks on the council are required to keep separate play and council actions.

I believe it's bitten a few of them on the ass.

I haven't played EvE in years.

Let me think about it...

We got fries, chicken wings, meatballs, beer, coffee, pastries, water, pizza, tea, more beer, all kind of Polish food and beer again.

But the cake was a lie. Guess we have to return to Warsaw to get it!

adaliabooks: Yeah passport wasn't an issue for me, I'm actually surprised how few people seem to have one... Though that being said my partner's is out of date...
I was just too busy to be able to make it.

Got to make a living some how unfortunately.
Living in Canada, for most of my life we could freely travel to/from the US without a passport, and since it's the only place that I've ever travelled and I don't go there anymore I have not had any need to have a passport since 2005 until this invitation. :) I'm not sure how it is in other parts of the world but in Canada and the US many people do not have nor really need passports unless they travel abroad.

Pretty sure since 2001 you've needed a passport to cross the US Canada border. Maybe not a passport but you needed more that what you needed before which was nothing.

You missed the "most of my life" part.
